  1. Don't underestimate the fact that, in Thailand, there is a powerful network of appointed people who appoint each other. Their power is significantly isolated from government changes, as they are not appointed by the government. It's not at all comparable to the U.S. or France. Thaksin or not Thaksin is a minor issue.
  2. How often did Israel already attack another ME country on request from the U.S?
  3. It seems you cannot defend Trump without evoking a conspiracy theory......
  4. What has Trump's position about Ukraine to do with his position about Israel and Palestine? Trump has always been pro-Netanyahu JERUSALEM (Reuters) - The United States opens its new embassy in Jerusalem on May 14, a move that has delighted Israel and infuriated Palestinians. https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN1I810Z/ WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump unveiled his long-awaited Mideast peace plan Tuesday alongside a beaming Benjamin Netanyahu, presenting a vision that matched the Israeli leader’s hard-line, nationalist views while falling far short of Palestinian ambitions. https://apnews.com/article/donald-trump-ap-top-news-international-news-jerusalem-politics-f7d36b9023309ce4b1e423b02abf52c6
  5. And they will vote for the pro-Palestinian Trump! Oh wait! 😀
  6. Moreover, they get the 'ticket' they feared (I'm not talking about Yingluck). Prem must be turning over in his grave......
  7. It is factually correct, but only if you consider that the protests, the judicial decisions, and the military coup were independent events. The protests failed, the court decisions failed to remove the whole caretaker government and to prevent the occurrence of the next elections, so the only remaining option was the military coup.
  8. And the biased CNN did not report the part when Hillary organised a "stop the steal" protest and sent her supporters to assault the Capitol in order to block the certification of Trump's victory! 😆
  9. As usual, Trump is confused... "Assault on America", it's not this case, it's the Jan.6 case! 😃
  10. Both the Iranian and the Israeli strikes fell "near" a strategic target. It seems that both Netaniyahu and and Iran's great leader need a conflict for internal political reasons, but also have been cautious enough to avoid a major conflict.
  11. Right! Everybody knows the Chik-Fil-A sample is more representative than the ones selected by polling companies! 😀
  12. You can also add 4) a relatively low unemployment level, so better job opportunities.
  13. Due to network effects, TS cannot overcome its disadvantage against X. The main value component for users of a social network is the number of subscribers.
  14. Trump can certainly debate better than Biden. That's why he won the previous election! Oh wait! 😃
  15. Not really (but maybe not as worse as expected)..... https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/sn02784/
  16. Just like Trump was leading but not really as of last month.... The difference is that the same guys, who were bragging about it last month, are now criticizing polls! 😀
  17. I certainly agree with that. It is no more predictive than the polls MAGA fans were all bragging about last month. Now they all denigrate polls. 😀
  18. Because he did all he could to delay trials (and now complains it bothers his campaign 😀)
  19. The irony is that social security was first introduced by the 'leftist' Bismarck! 😀
  20. Ok. My mistake. So UK +0.4% compared to the sick man of Europe Germany and -0.8% compared to France (+0,9%) (the other country you mentioned), in 2023. https://economy-finance.ec.europa.eu/economic-surveillance-eu-economies/france/economic-forecast-france_en
  21. You obviously don't know how to read the table. Q4 2023, in this part of the table, is the yearly growth (% change on a year ago). The quarterly growth is in the first part of the table. What about France?
