There is no "online application for 90 days application"
It is online 90 day reporting.
Thank goodness you clarified that. None of us had the slightest idea what he was on about….. 🙄

After years of seamless 90 day reporting on line I too just had my application rejected. Strangely I didn’t get the usual reminder email . This is the first 90 day after retirement visa extension in January so everything was completely up to date and I was 13 days before due date so comfortably within the window. I always double check my information is correctly entered. There is obviously something amiss with the system at the moment. Korat office.

China's main goal is to circumvent US containment on the South China Sea. Phase One of the plan is the rail line. Phase Two is the canal that eliminates the need for traffic thru Singapore and a direct outlet to the Indian Ocean. They will never give up on this plan.
A single large container ship holds 24000 TEUs. The equivalent capacity would take a 44 mile train. Then there’s the costs of loading and unloading onto a train and back onto a container ship in that link. It’s not a realistic economic alternative especially when taking into account the huge volumes of shipping out of China.

Please don't look at the cost per mile for the UK "effort"
In such a small overcrowded island costs for railway building are inevitably much higher than larger countries with more open countryside like France etc

I used this automatic system via Santander accidentally a few months ago, worked quickly, too quickly. I think it is riskier, if someone hacks your phone or pc easy to transfer money from linked bank automatically
If they’d hacked your device to that extent they could transfer funds anyway. When switching you to your bank (Santander ) you effectively have to log in again with a trusted device and also fingerprint id to authorize the payment. Also it asks/checks that the Wise account is in your own name (denoted by the reference number).

The RD would request this information from the person they were auditing as a first step. As a second step, the RD could request assistance from the auditee's home country tax authorities who could obtain this from the bank or other financial institution and send it to the RD.
I don't think data protection laws would prevent tax authorities from obtaining information from financial institutions under existing international tax cooperation agreements. Privacy in financial matters, at least when it comes to tax, has been pretty much dead since the IRS busted open the Swiss banks about fifteen years ago.
They might ask it from the person they are targeting but Thai RD would would have little joy in a fishing trip across the gammiit of card suppliers in U.K. Perhaps if there was some high profile serious specific crime investigation might they obtain cooperation from the U.K. authorities, but to a foreign tax authority of Thailand’s standing,I doubt.

For sure, though I have never seen self-serve gas in LOS, in the west, for decades, but when that arrives here, a lot of locally employed non "educated" poorer folk will have a problem....🤔
That happens a lot here reflecting the much lower employment costs vs the costs of installing automation- the equation in developed countries is much different. Productivity is obviously much lower in thailand consequently which is not a good thing ultimately and they will eventually fall behind other countries by not focusing on upgrading skills/education..but that’s another story…

They have 2 online transfers which look very similar and easy to pick the wrong one, first one you have to manually transfer by going into your bank online, 2nd Wise do it, this one I don't like, too easy for fraud i reckon, both same cost
For some time using the "open banking " where it redirects you to your banking app to authorize them to take payment (which then happens at the bank end and confirms approval) and then on the redirection back to Wise there have been error messages " something went wrong " upon return to Wise site and the transaction fails and reverts to "pending" on the wise app. I had been in contact with my bank Santander who confirmed they’d authorized but Wise had failed to take funds - but Wise insisted there been no problem (technical) their end ,must be a network error , however others payments I made using this method worked seamlessly. This went on for several months.
Finally last week when I pointed out by process of elimination it MUST be them they finally admitted to a technical error their end which would take them some time to fix (they’d let me know when!) and to do the manual transfer option until then. I was furious with them for not establishing/addressing this issue promptly. However the manual transfer costs the same ,takes little extra time and funds arrive just as quickly.Has anyone else had this issue? I don’t think there’s any extra potential for fraud as even HMRC (U.K. tax) uses this same system..except theirs works!

More unemployed......😢
As older industries diminish, new ones arise where people get employed. To resist that is like Canute and artificially supporting such is economically ruinous. But there's at least another 10 years of increasing demand for oil based products /fossil fuels ahead anyway

In Asian culture, a comprehensive maintenance plan typically doesn't rank high on the list of priorities or concerns.
The prevailing belief often leans towards purchasing new items and replacing them with new again when they fail, rather than investing in maintenance or repairs.

The most likely scenario would be in the event of an audit and request for this info by the RD.
Don't think the RD can't get this info if they want it.
Data protection in the country of the card would deny access to them. Unless you volunteered it how would they obtain the information or even know you had such card?
