I live in North East Thailand, Si Sa Ket, I need to sign some Australian legal documents witnessed by an authorised person. I can go to the Australian embassy in Bangkok but would prefer closer if possible. Thanks in advance for any help.

A friend of mine, who is not a member, will not have his work contract renewed when it expires end February 2022, he has an 8 year old son who he supports 100% financially and 95% care, he and the mother are not married and live seperately, he does not want to work anymore, what visa options would be best for him.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Under the current rules can an Irish person double vaccinated gain a 28 day visa on arrival once he has done the 7 day quarantine can he then gain an extension of an additional 30 or 60 days. Thanks for any advice.

The error comes up " your converstation is not private " also some other log in issues. I live in Si Sa Ket but too hard to get my issues across. I will be down Wang Noi way in about 3 weeks. A friend of mine is in a very toxic situation he has an 8 year old son to his Thai partner who for better words is Crazy. He loves his son & the love is returned.
Does anybody know of a good lawyer who talks English & understands situations like this. He would like to get sole custody.
A lawyer in Buriram, Surin or Si Sa Ket or nearby would be good.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Both sites I look at predict scattered storms in Si Sa Ket / Surin they also forecast very little general rain next 3 weeks they both have been saving this for 2 months so they are spot on so far, it looks to me a very short wet season if at all.

I'm using Si Sa Ket office never had an issue in 5 years all very helpful polite etc except this issue yesterday.
It's all over about 2000 THB for the year not only effects me but my wife, her daughter & son & her mother also all the donations to the villagers weddings, temple, monk school, deaths etc.

Thanks Tanoshi my extension expires on 7 July so probably go there on Sat 6 then then apply for visa on the Monday I think appointments are required.

Thanks ubonjoe, my extension is based on marriage I have had no problems for 5 years, first we tried with the Stat Dec witnessed in Australian embassy late December they calculated pension at 21 THB to Aud so I missed out by about 2000 THB for 12 months, we then tried the bank letter method for the past 6 months 4 deposits of 40000 + & 2 monthly deposits of about 37000 they average out at 42500 THB each month, boss lady would not accept saying they had to be 40000 at least each & every month.
Any suggestions appreciated other than the multiple entry could this be used at land entry points.

Yep, boss lady said go to Pattaya or BKK guys there will arrange it for 25000 THB

Went to IMO yesterday to apply for extension to stay it took me 30 mins to convince to boss lady that there are 26 - 2 week periods in a year she then re calculated my pension at a rate of 21 THB to Aud this came up about 2000 THB short of the 480000 required, I transfer funds last Friday got 21.96 we then tried the monthly system for the past 6 months a total of 258000 was transfered however for 2 months the transfer was about 37000 the month in between those transfer's was a 57000 transfer, she said it has to be at least 40000 each month, I tried to argue the average was 43000 each month, I thought the police order said that this is acceptable.
Anyway it's all over so I'm leaving on 6 July, all my fault, I spent all my available savings on a 4 million house & near 2 million improving the wife's / mothers farm should have kept 480000 for bank deposit. I'll just get by but so worried about how my wife, her daughter & new born son will get on, I'm still putting in over 5000 a month on the farm it's still 12 to 18 months before it will return a profit.

I did change from using my bank to OFX better rate at first OFX T/F came as Foreign T/F but lately their T/F comes as Bahtnet, I'll know more tomorrow as it is extension day, probably not an issue this year as I have a Stat Dec less than 6 months old, thanks for your & other's advice, I'll update after IMO visit.

I went to bank today for letter stating my monthly transfers into my Bangkok Bank savings account. They printed out a copy of all my transactions the deposits from my Australian came with different transaction codes namely; BATHNET, Foreign T/F, Foreign T/T. The guy at the bank said IMO will accept that, I replied you & I know they came from Australia but how will IMO know where they came except the few with Foreign T/F & T/T.
Any thoughts.

That can be a problem leaving equipment out in the field. I was worried sick when I put a pumping system at our farm 5 years ago, lucky maybe, I don't worry about it now.

If you are within 1 KM of mains power do not even think of it, without Government subsidy no chance of getting near breaking even.
Solar water pumping near break even.
This is from somebody who knows.

A good friend of mine, both Aussies, has a big domestic problem.
If not for a 5 & half year son, easy to solve.
Without going into details his situation has now become untenable, going worse to worse of the years, the boy's mother has pulled a knife on the father twice in the last 3 days, at 4 AM Wednesday the boy's mother came home demanding 2000 THB which he gave her to keep the peace she then returned at 6 AM demanding another 2000 when refused she pulled a knife on him poking him in the belly.
I suggested going to the police & make a police report ( they know her form ) but he is worried if he makes a report which will be in Thai so he wont know what it says but signs it.
He in an English teacher, with WP, well respected in the community, talks reasonable Thai but can't read.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I did mine in Si Sa Ket no problems at all have had 2 renewals also no problem, the 90 day reporting very fast even if busy with other work they'll fit you in between the longest wait I have had would be no longer than half an hour.
I think it's an office by office thing some efficient others not as.
Did your Electric bill this month double?
