  1. I see you want the cheapest but you want to fly not the cheapest way to go.

If you already have a double entry all you need to do is cross the border turn around and reenter Thailand. The one thing to watch out for is if it is a multiple entry for 60 days make sure they stamp it for 60 days. The first time I did it at Mai Sai they only stamped it for 30 days and I had to go back to them to get it changed.

Also you can go to the local immigration office and get your present one extended for 30 days.

Cheers to that. Will keep an eye out

Will be flying to KL but i have a 4 1/2 hour layover. Hope customs/immigration is easy to get through.

  2. airfare + visa is going to be more than double for Ventianne vs. KL. KL has mass transit at the airport...If you had to go to the embassy, Ventianne would be worth a closer look as they seem to have fewer bad hair days than KL.

Don't need to go to embassy. Just need to stamp out at the countries airport then head back the same day into thailand. Not looking to travel in any other country. Is that possible?

  3. True fitness or Fitness First. Go check them out and join if you like approx 2300b per month.

    Sent from my c64

    Absurd. Mad at WE fitness.

Does true fitness or Fitness first have bodybuilding equipment for serious lifters? Or is it your average gym goer type of things.

IE: squat rack machine/bench presses/leg press/free weights heavy/loads of various machines/squat rack etc

    Thanks

  4. Actually this is flu season here in Bangkok so that might be your issue - for that find Zyrtec allergy tablets to be good (although do make me tired). The air is not great but really not that dirty in Bangkok since public transport has largely departed from dependence on diesel fuel.

    http://aqicn.org/city/bangkok/

Great! That must be the issue then. Guess i need to check who i am kissing next time...

Unbelievable. Haven't been sick in a year 1/2, that's why i thought it was due to air pollution, me living in bangkok 4 weeks thought it got to me.

    Thank you =)

  5. 4 1/2 weeks in bangkok. Just started to develop a cough, small sinus, scratchy throat, something like a smoker would have when they smoke too much..which i know is due to the horrible air quality here.

I went to hua hin/cha-am and loved it there. I felt like i was at home due to the amazing air quality. But to live, i could not. Maybe 30 years down the road.

How is chiang mai / chiang rai ?

any opinions are welcome, and advice to helping this is great..

ie: inhaler , otc medicines etc...

    Thank you all!

  6. I saw fitness first. But i'm a heavy lifter, need all sorts of equipment. Quality does not matter, as long as it remains or tends slightly to a bodybuilder training. (Note will have limited transportation, will not be driving to pattaya to go to the gym.)

    Thank you

  7. The gear is much cheaper.......

Look at places like Khanom, Chumphon, etc etc.

But there might be no good gym

oh sorry i know it is much cheaper.

But i am actually talking about my food intake .. 6 meals a day

    rice/potatoes/pad thai x chicken/pork repeat 6 times .. exhausting and expensive

    -----

Are Khanom, Chumphon accessible by airplane?

also i am assuming phuket/koh samui/koh tao are a definite no because expensive, yes?

I think Jomtien is cheap enough. You can rent a reasonable condo for under 10k, there thousands of cheap, local little restaurants and you have a lot gyms,, Tonys have a few big gyms around Pattaya which is close,, i see quite a few body builders there as i waddle past. Oh, and of course a nice beach,,,

I have a friend that lives outside of Pattaya. She doesn't prefer the city and rubbish that goes on in and about pattaya city. I'll ask her about Jomtien. From what i've read so far, looks nice..

It's not like bangkok , crazy and busy all the time? Also will i need a motorbike?

  8. Geeez what a boring life just body building and No girls and no partys why goto LOS in the first place and complain its too expensive bloody hell.

boring life? expensive? hmmm , not fun? hmmmm

think about this one real quick. Drink until your liver fails, maybe not now, but 20 years down the road. Oh and your pancreas!

Oh wait, mental health and addiction! Forget that goes along with the worlds deadliest drug---- alcohol. Kills more than cocaine/heroin/meth you name it.

    Cheers

You ever heard of any long term side effects from gear? give me a medical article please would love to see it.

Name me one injectable gear that has effects on your liver besides Trenbolone. You won't find one.

Who said anything about no girls? and when you are good looking and have muscles......

well i'll leave it there. i'm on a forum

For the OP, If u live near Ekkamai just move further out to Onnut, there is a good market behind the road opposite Big C, its cheap and clean lots of ppl buying there farangs too.. I moved to phuket from bkk coz not far from beach and close to nature, air very clean... Life is same as cheap here if you cook for yourself and know the ways around just need a motorbike... wai2.gif

Thank you sir! Will have to check that out then..Guess i have to trial and error it

What what i have heard from friends, and people that live here in bangkok, pattaya is a no-go for me.

was looking at rayong, and chantuburi though?

this is not my first time living in a developing country ~~~~~

was already in RJ for two years

got to be fluent in portuguese and lived like a local. brazilian culture 100x different and the woman 100x different here

i miss brazilian ass. but i must adjust

Where are you eating and what kind of prices? Do you cook yourself? You mentioned Ekkamai, that is just about the most expensive part of Bangkok.

wow i sure did pick a winner didn't i? Wow . Yes i live in ekamai. Full of snobs here i am noticing. It's WEIRD. Because everyone else is always smiling..

Yes i cook 5 times a day and eat out once it seems like.

chicken/pork/fish all bought from BIG C (expensive)

    potatoes/rice/bananas/oatmeal/peanut butter etc (big C)

a little less expensive than the US, but nothing to write home about.

Still spending roughly 90-100$ a week on food =(

  10. Anywhere on the usual tourist trail is going to be more expensive.

If you are desperate for the beach you would be better considering less travelled areas, but that will probably mean less facilities too.

    Its a balancing act.

hmmm..i think i'm on a mission until i find the cheapest place here in thailand..

    Any suggestions CharlieH?

Literally would go to any length to find a gym, since my day revolves around that for a few hours..

  12. I'm finding bangkok, especially ekamai to be very expensive. Came to thailand thinking living as a bodybuilder would be cheaper but its actually not that much compared to the united states.

Where can one go to live cheap, quiet, and have a beach ?

((i don't party, drink, nightclub no))

    --

i have heard hua hin is nice, but I'm not sure in terms of cost of living. Just need a beach, and a gym, cheaper food, and i'll be in heaven

    kob khun khap!

  13. It means you have two entries into Thailand. Each entry is good for 60 days and can be extended by another 30 days by paying 1,900 baht at immigration.

You need to make both entries before the visa expires, which appears to be 6 months from date of issue.

You do not need to be out of the country for a minimum period of time to get the second entry. You can leave Thailand and enter again the same hour.

weird why would i have a tourist visa for 6 months then with two entries?

so i can't stay 3 months without having to exit the country and then re-enter?

    confusing.

so, can stay 2 full months, leave for an hour, then re-enter. then stay another two months?

i would want to pay for the extra 30 days because , that's what i paid for in my visa process originally, but oh well. Is it easy to visit immigration at bkk airport?

Your visas only gives you a 60 day entry that you can extend at an immigration office (not at an airport) for 30 days. You not have to leave the country to get the 30 days.

After the total of 90 days you have after getting the extension will have to go out to start the 2nd 60 days.

The fee you paid was for a tourist visa only gives you two 60 day entries not 90 days of stay.

    Thank you for the clarification!

    I understand fully now =)

So where is the immigration office in chiang mai or bkk?

i'll be in chiang mai specifically

  15. Yes, injectable testosterone is OTC in Thailand as are some other injectable meds so logically needles and syringes too. HOWEVER I have heard of pharmacies raising eyebrows/refusing to sell just needles/syringes to foreigners, I think because of stereotypes equating farangs with drug abusers. Should not be a problem if purchased along with the testosterone but if you go in asking only for the needles and they act skittish, this is why.

Need to carefully note the exact testosterone preparation you are on. The injectable T brands here are:

Testoviron Depo and Depo-Test 250= Testosterone enanthate

Testosterone Propionate March = testosterone propionate

    Nebido = Testosterone undecanoate

Test-Comp 250 = mix of Testosterone propionate, testosterone phenylpropionate , testosterone isocaproate and testosterone decanoate

Cypionex and testolic = Testosterone cypionate

For sourcing in CM area suggest Fascinos' Pharmacy and be sure to join their member club as after purchasing a certain amount you'll get discount on the next purchase.

Suthep RoadSuthep, Mueang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, 50200

    Tel: 053 278 259

This is fantastic! Thank you so much for taking your time to write this out for me.

    I am on Testosterone E.

It seems like they have that Fascino's Pharmacy right around the corner from Niman where i will be living!

I'll be sure to take advantage of the member club as well ! =)

Also, if i were to get a doctor for HRT, do they prescribe Nandrolone, at low doses like they do in the US?

I think nandrolone is short for Deca Durabolin if i remember correctly.

I've taken it as per my doctor before, but i don't know if they follow procedures like this in Thailand?

    Thanks so much =)
