Shut up. It seems to work...I'm never gunna speak to you again. Gunna a very important word in Australian English. Derived from the words "going to get around to doing certain things but never seem to get it done mostly blokes." Often expanded to Gunnado, should be included in every English speaking dictionary in the world I'm sure they are gunnadoit (gunna-do-it) one day. "he said I'm gunna get around to building that shed one maybe soon one day. That's a gunnadoit.

It appears if he makes a complaint about it the red tape and fallout from it can be very inconvenient to say the least. I now often think I could help Thais improve things but now keep my mouth shut...good advice in Thailand, sometimes.

I got my information on the subject of defamation from a restaurant owner in Cha-am when he asked me how I liked the hamburger and chips he served I said to him " the bun was quite small and the meat wasn't beef, ( was pork OK) there was no lettuce. You put chili sauce on the hamburger when tomato sauce is what I expected ( not good with chili). I did eat it and the chips they were quite good. He replied that my comments were defamation and that he was friends with the local police chief and the Mayor and that he could make big trouble for me and reminded me that defamation was a criminal offense in Thailand with some advice that I should keep my mouth shut in future...TIT. This is a true dinky Di true blue story...5555

As far as I know, criticizing anyone in Thailand is defamation. Defamation is a criminal offense in Thailand...I rest my case, it could be a problem expressing my real views on this site? I suggest others take notice.

A recent USA TV documentary on Thai TV. Showed that there are about 70 million Thai people in Thailand 2/3rds of the wealth of Thailand is held by 700,000 of the wealthiest people. Do you think given a real opportunity any of those 69,300,000 other Thais will vote for him?
  8. Excuse me I thought these posts and were about the escalating numbers of illegal aliens trying to enter the USA. In order to support your case are you suggesting that the number has already declined significantly and that everyone who has an opinion in regard to this escalating situation is wrong? Well if so that is a turn up if you are correct. Where do get off? It is very very clear that the number of illegal entries to the USA is increasing. The wall may not be the perfect solution however it may be the beginning of a solution. It may need a bit of spit and polish. and a few reviews, that's where the military should be involved. They are the guardians of your borders. Give them a go and support them and forget the politics. This situation is real, get on with it. You are fighting a war.
