Merry Christmas everyone!! I'm off to Edinburgh to spend it with my family.
I have a new great nephew who was born last month, so will be the first time i see him. His sister is 18 months and a wee rascal!!
The rest of us are all adults ranging in age from 32 to 90!! Lots of fun every time!!

No, not at all!! I did find it a bit strange, at first. But got used to it.
I may not post as much, but read as much as always, maybe i am a lurker!! Also, I am not going to be online over the festive season.

I had two. One died at the grand old age of 16.
I had problems with my housing and had to move from my flat. My landlady was a bitch. So, unfortunately I had to give Jimmy away. I had no other choice, and am still very sad about it even now 5 years later.
He now lives in the countryside, surrounded by fields and is spoilt rotten. So, in the end i made the best decision, and am glad i didn't have to put him in the Cat Home for adoption. I don't actually know if he is still alive, he was 16 in September. I miss him everyday. The people are so posh they even had the vet come to their house to give him a check up!!! He was 100% healthy and he cleaned his teeth!! The only quibble i had was they never asked for his vet notes nor for me to change the address on his chip.
Oi, he loved Lionel. Even though his favourite was Michael Bublé!!

As usual, i was forgotten!! I got up to 4th or 5th place last year. Then i asked to be withdrawn.

Personally I would never get a tattoo but it is not a deal breaker for me. Appearance, body language, voice, vocabulary and speech patterns all play a part in telling you what a person thinks of themselves but content and substance is also important.
One effective way that I use to judge people is this:
Avatar + signature on line = tattoos + clothing in person.
I've been nagging my family to have plastic surgery on my ears for at least 40 years!!

The strangest Thai wedding I ever went to was one at which the 'happy couple' had hired another couple to play the part of the bride's parents.
Her real parents unhappy with her choice of husband had refused to turn up.
After i got married, my parents probably wished they had had that option!!

I have no idea who David is here now if he is here, but it was nice to see pics of a happy family.
Anyway, my final vote was made at midnight in Europe. I am getting on a rather small and cheap airliner tomorrow. And shall be offline for a week!!! And shall lose lottsa sleep just waiting to get back home to read the results!! Perhaps not the results, but the comments before and after.

That's because we were drunk and disorderly!!! This year is like a funeral march!!
There were certain personalities running last few years that aren't running now. 'Nuff said. Yes it was chaotic madness but that's much more about the candidates than anything.
I had a surprise e mail from David, the twins and their mum and he are doing good in Oz.
