"Under the current proposals, foreigners arriving in Thailand by air would be charged 300 baht, while those arriving by land, sea or rail could be charged between 100 and 200 baht."
but as I understand is a "landboarder tourist" more likely running away at hospitals

2 of my cats died, cause (proven) was Covid and the vets couldn't help them. Sad but true, cats can carry the Covid virus.
Feline Corona Virus and the disease is FIP

Long term effects...
It's only been a short time infection so far?
What long term study?
This has long been known for corona infections in cats and the following corona diseases after multiple contact with the antigen. The disease is called FIP and is fatal.

totally prevents infection (as defined as the pathogen entering the body).
There is a Pfizer Corona vaccine trying to do so by preventing the Corona Virus to dock on cells so the Corona Virus can not enter and replicate. "Surface antibodies"
This vaccine is suposed to nasal application in cats.
The vaccine is mostly useless and its use is not recommended by professionals.
There are labs testing the procedures for human nasal vaccines.

Yes. Other doctors in the west were saying this back in spring 2020 but they were quickly shot down in the media, devoiced in youtube, etc.
This thai doctor describes what has just happened in India - most people got sick and acquired natural immunity from the live virus, the wave went down. The number of detected infections is bs everywhere, real numbers are in billions now, mortality rate is very low. What happened in India is now happening in Thailand, give it another month to play out.
It is Corona Virus. Immunity is of no importance. It is a genetic selection whether the immune system can be switch to "no regulation" with the first or repetetive contacts with antigens, virus replication has not to be active. Corona infection and replication has not to be on the same individual which is corona sick.

If you read the medical report this is no surprise! the testing results have already shown it takes months for a individual to build up their immunity it isn't instant once you get your jab to get 95%. The reason it is recommended one continue to wear mask, use of alcohol, social distant.
not sure for immunity.........but it is possible that produced antibodies can be detected and immune cells are triggerd for unknown actions in the future ....... that is how corona acts in cats in my expirience for the last 35 years.

When most countries that provide low and no cost vaccinations, where will a black market for this development?
For people who want to travel but have to wait until ...to get the innoculation becaus they are not in the acutual selection. Most over 85 who get now vaccinated do not travel a lot.

How to get a vaccine passport when I can not enter Thailand and go to KSR ? By mail ? or email?

4,000 baht an hour.
Or was it 2,000 baht plus 2,000 paid back up to people that sign off on it?
That is 6 mTHB to each for 1500 hours extra work on top of the regular work +-1700 hours/year.

I found a paper https://www.cmaj.ca/content/186/1/E1
2014
"The Ministry of Public Health claimed Thailand received 2.5 million medical tourists last year, but medical tourism directories, like Novasans.com, consider the true number to be fewer than 700 000 patients."
and now 10 millions ?
"In 2019 before the pandemic struck, there were well over ten million visits associated with medical tourism. "

I used Pfizer Corona vaccine on cats but I do not memorize when for tha last time must be 15 years ago.
the last corona virus test for cats I do have has EXP dat 2004

Viruses don't mutate to become more deadly.
It is not a virus disease but an immunological problem. the vaste majority of humans have a immune cell population indifferent to a infection with the corona virus. The "not indifferent" cell population produces nonsense antibodies and/or incompetend immune cells until the body is exhausted and/or the blood vessels are blocked with immune aggregates and immune cells.
That is the reason why there is no relation between number of detected infections and number of fatalities. It looks like all Thais have the same good immunsystem as they they are all related to each other, all are brothers and sisters in remote locations.
This is what is known from corona virus and cats, there is a not working vaccine in many vet cabinets.

As far as I know it's not possible to 'test for rabies' without cutting the mammal's head off. But I'm happy to be proven wrong.
This is very sad, and a difficult situation all over the country. Why should humans destroy the dogs for our own convenience of living with peace of mind? Sterilising the females to reduce reproduction and castrating the males to reduce aggression is the only solution.
Quarantine for 21 days, if rabies is present then the dog is dead.
-
quarantine is good for nothing, 0 day is ok . All humans will get in contact with some corona antigens from different virus mutations sooner or later. Virus production is not sine qua non. "Wrong" immune cells are responsible for the diseases.
the hint concerning a good vaccine : vaccination is based on antigens- 1

the vaccine worked so well for SARS-1, that test animals died of cytokine storm when in contact with the real virus
https://www.the-rheumatologist.org/article/dont-forget-the-host-covid-19-cytokine-storm/
Vaccine development is desirable, but previous efforts to develop a safe vaccine to protect human hosts from the SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV proved challenging. Although vaccines comprising viral peptides were able to induce potentially neutralizing antibodies, in vaccine development studies for both viruses, significant lung immunopathology was observed in test animals following viral challenge
that is correct. the vaccine against Corona virus in cats did not anything good.

First, you may have noticed that these viruses disappear as quickly as they appear (it's a bit different for Ebola, but it is not a coronavirus).
SARS 1 is not there anymore, and neither is MERS, but somehow the actual SARS 2 is expected to remain with us forever...go wonder why...
There is a good reason why there is no vaccine against coronaviruses.
It is very technical and beyond my knowledge, but from what I grasped it has to do with a very specific area of the body where the virus is active, and until now impossible to efficiently reach with a vaccine.
That is correct. It is a Corona virus and there is no vaccine because the the letal disease is cellular immunity. that is the place where immunity should be produced but the cells do not cooperate.
No CORONA vaccine working for other mammals like cats.

Everybody can produce antibodies against anything when the organism has immune cells.
But remember the probleme is not antibodies against CORONA virus but the corona virus infection is not lethal but the immune response.-----> no vaccine possible, no vaccine found for corona in mammales

I think if a vaccine is found and we get imunised ,things will eventually just go on as they always have ,
There is no possibility to make a vaccine. Remember it is a CORONA Virus and the disease is on the cellular immune level.

The UK Oxford University have started human trials on a covid 19 vaccine . They are 80% confident that it will be successful having used it on a similar virus last year and so have a head start on other laboratories . They hope to have the vaccine ready by September this year .
No need for the world to change if the vaccine proves effective .
There is no immunity. It is a CORONA virus. The disease is on the cellular immune reaction and there is no live virus involved.

It is a Corona Virus.......there is no vaccine possible. The death comes from muliple contacts with the virus which triggers the immune responses and destroys the vasculare system in any organe
-
But if you beat the virus, what happens when you encounter it a second time?
The immune system reacts, and reacts again during the next infections and then it happens thats why
Old people die more often because of multiple Corona infections over the years. So easy.
-
Antibodies testing is for nothing, remember it is a Corona Virus
-
In cats there is feline corona virus infection which makes a virus infection and after subsequent infections ends with a lethal disease called FIP.
Well it is a Corona Virus and antibodies are not protective but can modify the immune response in subsequent infections until the immune response goes the wrong way...because the immune system does not anymore identify the mutated virus. The mutation occurse inside the host.
-
Those reports about reinfection are rare and most likely due to testing error according to Dr. Sanjay Gupta. Most likely having had it does provide some immunity. The question is how much and for how long.
Check the knowleg in feline medecine then you learn about reinfection and mutation
