Nope, it's not the point
also the 500 bahts isn't the problem
like i said, you have totally missed the point of this topic
if someone show you the moon, it's not his finger that you should look at
cheers too
Yeah it is. If it was free, you'd all be finding something else to whinge about. If it cost nothing, but you were still charged extra for admission into some theme park or a donkey ride because your a tourist, you'd whinge about that. Thanks again. ????

Oh right.... so it IS about the money.
Absolutely.
If it was free, you types wouldn't be whinging !! Thanks again

Don't whinge, just pay the 4 Leo beers equivalent, if you haven't worked out by now that foreigners are seen and thought of in Thailand as wealthy in most cases, hence you will be exploited on varying levels. If you can't afford the 4-5 Leo beers outside of your usual pub drinking sessions, maybe you should use your last pennies and head back to your joint and hop on welfare. Thanks again

however you will be probably happy to know that you are not the only one to have done this
....expats are whinging, as usual, that's the point.
Cheers

Farangs, maybe/maybe not current expats, have bought it on themselves. I'm sure a hell of a lot of individuals over time have used the health care system in Thailand without paying. Probably comes with the territory, you are not a natural citizen, then pay your way if you choose retirement in the land of smiles. In Oz, there are times where "local" status will get a cheaper rate than that of a tourist, in tourist areas, especially Cairns......To put it in to perspective, 500 baht = 4-5 Leo beers at Kangaroo bar.????????????

The OP mentions 87% of accidents are motorcycle (I assume scooters).... doubt raising the speed limit on highways will change that number very much.
Yeah true mate. We can still pick the driver(road user) training as an issue that needs much deserved attention.
-
I've got an idea, how 'bout upping the highway speed limit to 120, then kick back and watch the results, instead of starting from appropriate ground roots driver training and licensing.......

Was actually too hard in the end. Her father died on Christmas day, so she had to watch it all unfold on the phone.
As far as we were aware, we were to pay all quarantine accommodation, so that's a month in a room at cost both in Thailand then Oz. We had to apply for travel from AU, then get on an allocated plane that travelled about twice a month, unsure of the cost. The next hurdle was we had to apply for re-entry for my wife.

For anyone who is interested.
Dr discusses the misinformation that we all probably suspect, and the available treatment in the form of Hydroxychloroquin, that is strangely being made difficult to get.
Hope it works on here as I'm computer illiterate ????

My wife's old man is on his last legs. She will have to return from Australia Brisbane, to Khon Kaen. Anyone have any idea on how difficult it is or any tips. I've yet to officially make a plan and begin Immigration enquiries, but I've heard flights out of Oz won't happen until November. Thanks in advance

Dusk to dawn for everyone! What about you transport that carries the essential products to the shops for you to purchase and live. There must be some exclusions to the curfew or the goods would not reach all the people to be able to live. Transport, vegetable growers, warehouse staff, loaders and unloaders of the trucks
Non-essential staff.
No ridiculous public gatherings, anytime, anywhere. People gotta start to pull there heads in, fair dinkum

No "asking" , just enforce a 24/7
Individual human arrogance is the only issue with the virus. Kill the arrogance and we will all stand a much better chance. Simple really

I fully agree.
My wife is from Isaan, i love Thailand and i travel there regularly, but i will be going elsewhere after the MotoGP in Oct.
It is to expensive, prices are on Par with Australia.
Having said that, touristy Thailand is the expensive part. Our village is still relatively cheap.

doesn't surprise me, Australia rarely thinks for itself, it generally licks the arse of the USA and follows blindly.

Silly question, but wouldn't paedophile crimes be present on one's personal and Passport record, upon one checking into immigration ?
I had a mate who was "dragged over the coals" by Thai airport immigration, because he visited Thailand to see his wife on the 8th occasion in 1 year !!!
Seems a bit bizarre ....

Your comment "if you are charged extra for something, that means it's not cost nothing" makes no sense
Discrimination. Open your eyes and you will see many, many forms of discrimination in the land of smiles. For you types to whinge about vaccinations and you having to pay 5 Leo beers equivalent is a joke.
If you types (Foreigners who whinge) want it, pay it. If not, don't get it simple. If that can't be done, i guess you'll have to pay.
Cheers, and enjoy your extra admissions that you are not prepared for ????
