  1. Hi i wonder if anyone can offer any advice?

My wives spouse visa ends on 30th September, so we have to do another FLR, unfortunately my work contract has ended unexpectedly, obviously im looking for a new job, but worse case I don,t get permanent employment (due to introductory / trial periods ect), 6 months before the 30th of Sep, which would be by 30th March rite.

Can her successful 2nd FLR application be obtained on the £62.500 savings alone? or is there a requirement for me to prove  "me the sponsor"  is working ect, im just thinking worse case.

Also am I rite in thinking the £62.500  has to be in my account before 30th March or would it be 30th February as you can apply one month before the expiry date rite?

I was thinking it may be a good idea to open a separate joint easy access savings account and deposit the £62.500  in so its all in one account as its currently spread in isa's and bonds at the moment.

    Thank you

  2. Hi Guys

Me and my wife acquired her spouse visa (5 year route)  on 30/03/16, ( with help an advise from people on this forum) it expires in 30/03/2018, we are currently staying at my parents so don't have many joint items of correspondence (ie: council tax bills ect) but have separate ones with the same address on, ( ie: bank statements, collage letters, paylslips) this should be ok rite?

Also my parents are moving and I think we are going to move in with another relative my uncle who is retired, will this cause a problem because our address will obviously now change?

As im self employed im thinking it would easier to meet the financial requirements for her FLR via my savings this time round, i should have £62,500 six months before her visa is due but it is spread in different accounts ( ie ISA, Index linked Savings, normal savings account, current account) will this be a problem? and will me having the £62,500 solely meet the financial requirement this time round?

    thanks for you help guys

  3. Thanks 7by7 i will take both forms.

I wonder if you could help me with question 2.2 and 2.3 on the FLR form. My wife is here on an fiance/marriage visa and we have just got married and applying for her first FLR with FLR (M) form.

This is her first period of FLR following my fiancee visa, so I assume I tick "No" under 2.2 ("Is this the first time you have applied for a visa or extension of stay in one of the above categories (Including previous leave granted as a fiancee with your current sponsor?")

Im not sure if i then tick

First period of leave to remain (following an initial period of entry clearance as a partner of a settled person, or following an initial period of entry clearance as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner of a settled person - 6 months)

    OR

You are making a first application from within the UK but have not previously had leave to enter/remain as a partner.

Also on question 10.11 it states how long have you lived in uk, shall i just put when she entered on fiancé(e) visa? or leave it blank

and for what ties she has with the county she was born just put family?

    Thanks

  4. Hi we have out FLR (M) appointment booked for next week at crydon. I booked the appointment on the 6/3/2016 and i printed and filled in the FLR (M) form version 11/15. I was just doing some last min check and i clicked on the emailed link for the FLR for and it has now been updated. So i panicked a bit and have printed out the new version 03/16, ive started to fill it in and noticed the price for a single applicant has gone up from 649 to 811 now i have payed already and got a receipt for £1049.00. Im not sure if ive paied the old or new price and which version of the form to use ??

    Thanks in advance

  5. Thanks a lot 7by7 i see what your saying for sure, im going to book the premium at the end of the week.

Could i ask you one more question please, will i need to have a property inspection on my parents house for the FLR, ive read conflicting information

For the visit visa and fiance visa we just submitted letter from my parents, house/room pictures, parents house deeds and council tax bill.

    Thanks

  6. Really...Thanks very much 7by7 i had no idea!

Im am going to book it in the next week with the premium service. Could you tell me

    1. The correct FLR is (M) ?

2.Is it a good idea for me and my wife need to write a cover letter each like in the fiancé visa stage? I was going to just update my fiancé visa letters and big evidence folder?

    3. Do i print off the FLR Form and bring it in person or is it completed online?

    4. Ive heard appointments are booked six weeks in advance? I have just got the last 6 months payslips and bank statements stamped and signed now, by then wont they be "out of date" as i would have been paid on the 1st April again? Is it from when you apply online or have the actual appointment?

    Thanks!!

  8. Hi Me and my partner have just got married, she is here on a six month fiancee visa. We are going for the "Family life as the partner of a person present and settled in the UK (5 year route)"

Ive just downloaded the FLR(M) Version 11/15 application form and notes.

With reference to the document requirements,

English Test: She passed at Trinty London in June 2015 (we used it for fiancee visa)- So i will submit the certificate

Financial- Still in same job, so will submit same as i did for fiance visa with updated bank statements and payslips

    Relationship- ??

Here's where im stuck ive lived with my partner since 2013 ive got one 2 year tenancy agreement with both are names on, Since we have been in the UK (1 month this visit) i have not got anything else atall. Ive just registered her with the doctor, and they will send conformation through shortly. But apart from this i have nothing else.

    It states we need :

Six items of correspondence addressed to you and your partner at the same address as
evidence that you have been living together since your last grant of leave in this category, or

from the date you first started living together up to a maximum of two years.

Any ideas guys on this ?

We got a six month tourist visa prior to this fiance visa, where i submitted loads of photo evidence of are relationship ect ect, but i dont have any correspondence with names and addresses on?

Can anyone help, i want to fast track the FLR so want to get in done asap if i can?

    Thanks

Ive gone for a new job and am worried if im offered it i wont have enough time to to apply and get FLR before i leave my old job. do we choose the option Settlement - Settlement - Marriage as there is no fiance option.

  11. Hi i am preparing my girlfriends Uk Fiancé Visa. I have a few question im struggling to find answers for and wondered if anyone can offer any advice.

    1. How long are bank statements valid to? should i request them a week before we submit the application?

    2. Do i have to submit a photocopy’s of all my girlfriends’ passport pages?

    3. Do i as a sponsor have to complete the SU07 form and submit it?

4.My girlfriend has just completed the TB test, she was given 2 envelopes one is sealed and stamped and she was told not to open it, the second she could open and it has a certificate and a dvd in it. Should we submit both envelopes?

    5. I am currnetly in the UK, i will be posting the completed visa pack to her and she will submit it. Am i rite in thinking i can print and fill Appendix 2 Finantial form and put it in the pack.

Then when she recives the pack i can fill in the VAF4A form online from the UK and email it her to print, then book her appointment with VFS Globel. Or can i fill in the VAF4A form from the UK to and send both in the pack.

    Thanks In Advance!!!!!

  12. Im planning on submitting a fiancé settlement visa soon, regarding accommodation, im planning on staying in my parents house until we can find a house.

Its a 4 bedroom house and only me and my parents are staying there at the moment.

My parents have written a letter stating they are happy for us to stay there and have included there house deeds and conformation they own the house.

Ive have read conflicting information stating that i need a property inspection on the house to prove it is not overcrowded. Is this required?

    Thanks Guys

  13. Ok

    Tony one other question.

Appendix FM states in Par 2. i must include a letter from my employer or in my case CIS contractor. It states:

A letter from the employer(s) who issued the payslips at paragraph 2(a) confirming:

    (i) the person's employment and gross annual salary;

    (ii) the length of their employment;

(iii) the period over which they have been or were paid the level of salary relied upon in the application; and

(iv) the type of employment (permanent, fixed-term contract or agency)

I get paid "per day" (Day Rate) and work 9 hours a day, so if i don’t work i don’t get paid. So I don’t really have "Gross Annual Salary" as such or a contract stating my salary or type of employment.

Each month the amount I get is different depending how many Hours/Days I work.

Any idea what i should get my contractor boss to write in his letter, i dont want to run into any problems and am bit worried.

    thanks
