  6. hi, not married, 48 yo, getting a visa is a hassle ....and doing border run with small vans is even a bigger hassle...the last time i went from pattaya with Champion company...they used some old <deleted> van with horrible seats....very uncomfortable.....I love doing visa runs with a bus years ago from bkk but i dont know if that is still possible
  7. my plan is to stay several months....last time I used 45 days visa on arrival? and then extension so I got 75 days what is best option now for a tourist
  8. that is why i am putting a pause of going to thailand each year for 6 months....Phillipines here I come baby
  9. i was looking to buy one house here in europe austria and when i came in the mold smell was horrid....the owner said that the house was not occupied for few years....it smelled really bad and the windows were open..... so you can never get rid of that mold..... why are some people heating the house when they are away then? but on the other hand....i visited a thai family house once in south of thailand and the top rooms smelled moldy...really bad....so it must be humidity in the air too lol
  10. i am only concerned about the mold, when you leave the house closed and unused without opening the window for longer time, the mold is gonna creep in
  11. and then you wonder what is that white crust on bed, kitchen table and couch?
  12. i can barely understand what you wrote? below 15 celcius, you mean you leave the heating inside? Insurance problem? wtf? upside is bigger? can you rewrite entire reply?
  13. not really....mom is getting old so she will not be able to take care of it
  14. I am afraid to leave my house unattendet when I go to thailand for 6 month during winter....it gets snow and cold I am afraid the inside will get moldy. anybody have any experience with that? Because it will not get heated during winter and I am afraid that when i will come back the mold will be everywhere inside
  15. i was in pattaya and in bkk ... almost everybody speak english...even girls in 7/11
  16. but i agree xenophobia is really bad in thailand especially from like taxi drivers, older uneducated people....young people not so much lol
  17. no all my girls spoke perfect english...and that is most important, also in all restaurants everybody spoke english..i rarely came across somebody who did not speak english....even girls in clubs...all spoke english....only 1 girl that came to visit me from chonburi did not speak almost no english...and i met like 30 girls all with almost perfect english...on the other hand....russian chaps really did not speak no english in most cases lol...i will try i guess and if i dont like it i will go back to thailand like now for the 7th or 8th time lol... also i wanted to go to colombia, which seems even cheaper and the girls are stunners and cray cray for foreigners.... so it is either Phillipines, colombia or back to regular old thailand
  18. yes medical evenin thailand they did not resolve so i had to go back to eu and it dissapeared on its own so i am not worried about that how come they dont grow mango? It is same climate as in thailand
  19. my 50 cent about thailand Border runs are pain in the ass my biggest problem easy girls that are obsessed about white people lol is great dirty beaches in thailand pattaya many whores there... too many russians and other tourists in pattaya, bkk is ok but bkk is boring, hot, hard to commute farmers markets are best in the world, mangos, melons, coconuts, veggies....just a godsend...7/11 at every corner..i am a fruit obsessed man, especially mango seems police has more control over crime, even thought there is corruption about phillipines no problem with visa, biggest advantage lots of beaches second biggest advantage never been there....been looking on tinder the girls in cebu....most of them are fat and not that attractive...in thailand it is opposite lol less tourists is a big plus...i dont care if there are koreans...or chinese.... more expensive accomodation is a concern, even though my budget is like 1500 usd per month people with guns seems scary.... more blend food....i am vegan and i see many vegan restaurants in cebu for example but dunno if the food is good.... about your opinion in thailand almost everybody speaks english...besides old people...i never had problems....only like girls from rural areas do not speak english, but i used the app, but it was really rare....
  20. so it is dangerous.....I guess that is why there are less tourists there lol...probably if you get in a fight with local you are dead ?
  21. i am worreid about the fruit vailability...i went to fruit markets in thailand daily for fresh mango, oranges, coconuts....if this would be lacking...there would be a problem....is it because it is an island so it is harder to imporr fruit? Also they Phillipines are much more expensive if electiricity is so expensive.... is 1000 usd enough to live a good life? i always went to thailand, never anywhere else.....the women are beautiful in majority, thin, easy to pickup...but in phillipines i see they are mostly chubby and less attractive? That could be another problem....I would go to thailand still if there would not be so many tourists and visa requirements with border runs etc...
