  1. Hi, I’ve been living in Thailand 6 years now and have visited most areas from Chiang Mai, Issan to Yala. About 30 days ago I took up temporary residence here in Koh Samui, I’m enjoy the beaches and peacefulness very much. But.....I have come across an unusually high number of “angry expats” here on Samui. They seem very quick to loose their tempers and engage in a shouting matches over very trivial matters. Has the Covid situation caused more stress in the expat community or is this normal behavior for expats on Samui? Or maybe I’ve just had a bit of bad luck these last 30 days? Please don’t misunderstand me, I love Thailand and am enjoying my stay on Samui and I’m not complaining, but I’m curious if anyone else has noticed this, or is it just me? Thanks
