  1. I was working in Yangon and came home for a couple of weeks at the end of March and I got stuck here too. I managed to do some remote work but that got cancelled when it was obvious this was going to last a long time. Then I got a bequest from my mother's estate so I sold up in Bangkok, moved North, built a new house and bought land. Unfortunately I have run out of parents to leave me money in their wills so I have cashed in a military pension and am getting by with that, building/selling property and some online business.   2. I have just bought 3KW of panels, the batteries are the largest expense, to be sure but the 3KW into my household supply will certainly reduce my consumption from the grid.
