  1. I just came in on a TR60 visa, valid until 25 January, I will be leaving on the 14th of January.

I wonder if I do an extension, can I save the remaining time for when I come back to Thailand.

Reason: I'm staying in the South of the Philippines, Cebu honorary consul does not issue Visa's

I don't like to have too many visa exceptions in my passport.

    Thanks for the enlightment

  2. Just an interim note, between my first visit and sunday they changed an have an internet appointment system.

You are put through a lot of questions, you don't have to put a Sri Lanka phone number(I used my Thai), passportnr or ID, just use your own info, don't have to complete the expat visa info, your next step Visa application and checklist, just ignore and follow thru and you will get a appointment chit by email. They also send you the Visa application and checklist again by email, you can download, fill out and bring it all to the Consulate and according to Mozambiq, you only need the first 6 items

  3. I never heard about the O-A visa for over 50-ties.But JLCrab explained that these are only available from Consulate/Embassy in home/residence or designated country.

I always obtained MT Multi "O" from Hon.Cons.in Amsterdam.

Sorry for my ignorance but is the only difference for documentation needed for the "O-A"visa the Police Clearance Certificate?

Do I buy the multi entry permit at the same time I apply for the extension to stay (learning ?)

What are the exact documents needed for the extension to stay for a "O" or "A-O" visa?

Thanks again for helping me to see the ?

  4. Elviajero thanks for explicit reply.

I have a few questions left:

I thought that a "O"visa was also only available from home/residence country. True or False?

Will both extensions grant unlimited entries during the whole extension year?

Can those extensions be endlessly repeated, without the need to return to the home/residence country?

What is the cost of extension for both type of visa's

    Thanks again

  5. I have a retirement visa, tried to obtain ED visa for my g/f, can only apply in embassy responsible for Ethiopia(Egypt)(true/not true?). We were in Laos and Cambodia, they don't handle Ethiopian passports. So she has been coming in on visa's on arrival, no back to backs.

Since different embassies have different requirements I contacted Thai embassy in Cairo and also Nairobi.Evidently the ED visa is not for Africans, because no reply after several reminders.

    Any suggestions?

Also if no other solution, will marry. What is the road to follow to obtain dependant visa, bearing in mind that Ethiopians can only come in 15 days visa-on-arrival.

    Can i do in Thailand?

Also her visa-on-arrival is expiring on Monday, any problem with obtaining back-to-back via on arrival @Maesai? 3rd visa-on-arrival, first back-to-back, others were with 3weeks and 4 weeks intervals

    Thanks
