Can anybody quote any valid source of any confirmed case of anyone worldwide contracting covid in an outdoor public space? Mask salesmen need not reply.

Is it just me or is everyone missing the obvious solution to all of this? AMULETS!

Are they actually sitting on their brains? You don't bite the hands that feed you. Or put prison bracelets on them.

Meanwhile there is not one confirmed case of a covid transmission in an outdoor public area. Closing a running track for example is completely retarded. Fining people for walking outside without a mask is pure insanity.

Happened to me once. A fly found a wet patch under a dog food bin and laid a batch of eggs that all became flies at the same time at night when all the doors were closed so when I woke up the house had at least 50 of them flying around. They like garbage and moisture combined so try to avoid that indoors.

Don't bother us!
I heard the US was gonna start sending doses to countries in need. Not Americans abroad though.

Do they let you go to the front of the queue at least? Of is it like the supermarket or the bank where you and your white skin are completely invisible??

Fun fact it drives Thais insane if you pay for anything with any damaged bills.

I was watching closely at the pre-immigration desk just inside the immigration queue area. The lady immigration officer took and kept my COE. She had a long list which i presume were arrivals from my flight and checked my COE against that list before directing me to the actual immigration desk. I honestly think it would be hard to sneak in with a fake COE.
Maybe he should have followed you instead of going to the "illustration desk" as quoted from the article. Or maybe he thought that was proper as his COE was hand drawn??

There should be some national security laws in place, that allow Trump to be locked up in jail, until the 20th. He is a dangerous man, and a threat to the nation.
And as far as charging his rioters with sedition, I have no issue with that. But, only a small percentage of the ones who broke into the capital building were arrested.
Compared to Portland, where protestors who came close to government buildings were treated quite harshly, this reeks of favoritism toward the white Trump crowd. How can the capital building, with congress in session, not be considered a far greater security threat, than a nearly empty government building in Portland? Something smells fishy here.
No doubt the capital police failed miserably. But, was it a deliberate failure? And if so, should they be charged with a crime?
"...rioters..."
"...protesters..."

I get a very good sandwich at the Hungry Nest in Chiang Rai, on Jetyod Road just down from the clock tower. Along with a delicious mango smoothie, my favorite Sunday lunch. Perhaps you need to get out more.
In Viet Nam I can get a sandwich on any street corner with a fresh roll made hours before at most. To get yours I would have to two planes and a 30 minute tuk tuk. Perhaps you should speak for yourself.

That may be best. I wouldn't count on the Thai FDA to be able to sort out the dosing conflicts and data culmination at AstraZeneca and Oxfords

Agreed but at least they have bread and know what sandwich is.

A condo is not usually on stilts as i mentioned so not comparable. That being one of many reasons.

I only had them come up in the bathroom. I found that a little talcum powder around the room corners did the trick. They were always tits up in the morning and never made it into the house. Best by far is an elevated home like I have now. Have not seen one since living on stilts. Flies and mozzies are also rare after going 3 meters up.

OP, maybe you can send them a check?
You can register with Thai address, and phone number can be from any country. TransferWise makes life much easier.
Are you saying you can send money from Thailand to the US with Transferwise?

I was worried about my international transfers being coded correctly (a few were not) so deposited 800k as a backup and seasoned it. I went for my extension in May and, as expected, the I/O really wanted me to go with the 800k but I resisted and proved all the 65k transfers were international. She seemed to relent and when I picked up the passport a week later they sent me to a second I/O. I asked her was the 800k or 65k option used for my extension. She said 800k. I asked why and she sent me back to the original I/O. I said I thought we agreed to use the 65k method. She took my passport and talked to a third officer then made a few entries in her computer and said "65 ok". Now, because I have zero faith in them, I have kept the 800k in the bank for almost 3 months just in case they raise the issue at my 90 day as I have nothing in writing saying the 65k method was used. I have also made monthly transfers of 65k since May. QUESTION: If they don't mention the deposit can I withdraw all 800k and just continue with the 65k deposits and go that route next May? I already lost a literal fortune in stocks from keeping the 800k here this long and want it back earning for me.

If you are actually planning to leave Thailand, you can get a re-entry permit at the airport as normal, assuming your visa/extension will not run out before your intended return.
However, this to me seems completely irrelevant in the current situation, since, just because you have visa/extension, this does not give automatic right to return under current rules. I am not certain you would be allowed back even if you get a certificate of health etc etc as you are probably not on their list of priority re-entrants etc etc.
Moot claims. Your admitted until date has no bearing on whether or not you would be granted an re-entry permit. Re-entry permit would only be valid until admitted until date anyway. Not sure what "visa/extension" is either. They are not interchangeable words. Just adding to confusion. You admit you are uncertain. Why muddy the waters with unqualified speculations? Hush.
New passport name impact
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

My current US passport has a short version of my first name ex; Jon. Because I will be issued dual citizenship and a second passport in a European nation in my full birth certificate name ex; Jonathan, I am considering changing my US passport to have the same full birth name. How will it impact my retirement extension, banking and drivers licenses in Thailand if at all? Should I not poke the bear and just have two passports with different names? I am concerned my new EU Nation will have issues when I need to present my US passport for parts of their process hence the concern.
