That is nonsense. Only Poi Pet and Ranong has been reported as making a problem for doing them. People do them all the time at other crossings without a problem.

At Poipet you can't even do one so I wouldn't rely on it more than twice at any other land border.

Not to be rude, but I just get visa exempted entry on 19/3 and my friend twice on 22/2 & 22/3 at poi pet crossing.

  2. Just asking,my friend permit to stay end on 22/2/17 and I'm going to bkk on 23/2/17.

Can he get another 30 days stay if he go poi pet and come back via land crossing?

He's Singaporean and go bkk by plane last month.

He was told by immigration staff he can only get 7 days.

I thought the new rules said 2 times a year and 30 days each?

Can I get the comfirmation from Joe?

Anything to show to immigration ?

    Thanks.

  4. Just to share my experience, I register my marriage in Singapore and bring the certificate to Singapore embassy in bkk to certified it as true copy, bring the certificate with certified paper to translate at law firm, bring all documents to Khong soon in rangsit to stamp on Thai version of certificate to make it legal.

But always bring both certificates when ask for marriage cert.

    That's the only way.

I'm told that if I register my marriage in Thailand it will be double marriage and it's against the law.

  5. Living in Australia we are constantly told we have some of the most expensive houses in the world.

    Singapore is far more expensive...

Does anyone else living in Thailand believe houses are now quite expensive there. The Australian dollar has dropped which has made Thailand more expensive for us Ozzies but looking at some of these realestate agent adds even if our dollar was still strong prices would seem outrageous.
