    Disgusted

Yes, that's the explanation. The same Happened in my area in North Pattaya. When all the jungle is removed, they will plant few banana trees to do like it is now agricultural land. Few weeks after the banana trees are all dry and dead and the area looks disgusting until the vegetation comes back with rainy season.
  2. Yes, I will be careful to finish it until the end. I rarely swim. I've been told not to put any water inside the ear until everything is cleared
  3. Guess i owe an update: Been to the doctor. The yellow crust was dried pus as @Sheryl mentioned and removed. It's coming out from a little wound there. I checked on my archive and it is not the second but the 3rd time i have this problem since June 2022. Been given antibiotics tablets, Mupirocin and antiseptic solution. Like the 2 doctors i have seen in 2023, the fact that this problem keep coming back after few month did not lead to any comment.... Maybe some bacteria that decided to live here and cause infection every time a little scratch is done? 3 times bad luck? Who knows. Wait and see.
  4. Could really be anything from psoriasis, eczema, seborrheic-dermatitis (as said above), bacterial infection, fungal etc etc. All i can say this problem is coming back once in a while, although it has never looked so ugly. The morning after my OP, the crust partially dissolved into a White Yellowish grease that i was able to clean, then the crust reformed later. I could feel a small open wound behind the grease. Not sure i can put any cream on that without risk. I feel better atm, it's still there but my hearing is almost completely back. I have an appointment in few days to see a dermatologist. Will see if it has cleared up or became worse....
  5. Thanks sheryl, this is not feeling like dried pus but damaged skin building up. I had the same problem at this spot one year ago but far from that extent... Starting to have some hearing loss with this covering part of the ear canal entrance... I will get to see a doctor.
  6. Thanks for your reply, it is definitely not wax but some skin going weird... unfortunately.
  7. Hi, My ear has had an itchy feel for years, then yesterday I had some part of the skin turning up like this few hours after I accidentally scratched the area. Very uncomfortable. Ear canal inside if a little painful, does not seem to be infected. I wonder between going to see a dermatologist in one of the Pattaya hospitals and probably go back home with a bag full of medicine that may or may not work on the symptoms OR leave it alone in the hope it will clear up by itself which seems to be the case with ear psoriasis / eczema according to dr google. If someone have experience with that, what would you think?
  8. Hi, Doing research for my studio, I shortlisted the sharp J40TA and the Toshiba H30. They are both in stock in the shops near me and the Toshiba is 2500 THB cheaper. However, if you read the tech the Toshiba seems a lot better. Up to 36 sqm for the Toshiba and 30 sqm for the sharp. 24 db noise for the Toshiba vs 45 for the sharp. More speeds and longer warranty for the Toshiba as well. The CADR seems better for the Toshiba as well 300 vs 240 They both rated HEPA12, have a similar size and design. So, two good brands and the cheapest seems to be the best. Too good to be true? If you have any idea or experience... 9. So, as i like to conclude the topics with the solutions found, after advice from the plumber I hired, was fitted an American Standard model with a pipe going into the ground hole. Everything was sealed with white cement. Happy so far with it.
  10. Ok Ok, anyone has a contact, (preferably line or messenger for pics ) for a reliable plumber who can take good care of this in Pattaya?
  11. Yes, i look quite few Cotto spec sheets and in some a Rubber Seal: ref C9374 is provided. This is what it should look like: This is provided in some Cotto toilets and not in some others. It was supposed to be a part of the original toilet but I cannot check if it was fitted as i couldn't put the toilet upside down. It is supposed to be supplied with the new Cotto toilet I want to buy. So, even a skilled Thai worker is not going to use it and will seal with white cement instead?
  12. Thanks. I was thinking about asking the guy (when i will found one) to cut the tile, drill the floor and screw something like that (avail. in homepro) : They would not do a work like this here?
  13. i moved the old toilet to check the pipe and what i've seen seems far from standards even for thailand. It obviously needs a full access to the pipe does someone know what needs to be done? Just try to cut the tile, add a rubber ring and screw? Is any handyman with plumbing knowledge able to do that?
  14. Good morning, The Cotto toilet in my condo is leaking from the base and needs Refits or Repair or Replacement. As i don't like the shape of the old toilet I've decided to go for a replacement. Looking at the technical docs on the few models that could be okay i noticed a difference that could be a problem, regarding the distance to the wall. OLD Toilet: NEW Toilet: If you look at the drawings on the right, it seems that between the old and new toilet an increase of space of 5 mm (0.19 inches) is needed between the cistern and the wall. Unfortunately even if it's a very small distance, the actual cistern is really stuck to the wall and I understand that obviously the drain part of the base has to be placed on the toilet pipe at 305 mm from the wall, no choice. Do I understand the technical drawing correctly? Is this small difference of spacing can be easily solved by finding some extra space during the installation of the cistern on the base or the installation of base on the ground pipe? Thanks
  15. Thanks, would have think that not using screw was a mistake from the previous builders.
  16. Thanks... well i double checked the old leaking toilet and noticed that there are no screw. It seems that they just put concrete and leave it there, not even sure there is a rubber / wax ring. Here is a pic Start to think it is going to get quite complicated if the old concrete has to be removed first and holes to be drilled. A shop contractor might not be ok to do that. Any idea? Should i start to look for a plumber?
  17. Hi, I'm in Pattaya and need to change the toilet in my condo bahtroom. Among all the possible DIY shops (Homepro, T. Watsadu, BNB etc...) which one would include the installation of a new toilet if i buy it from them? Around how much would that cost? Obviously they would have to unseal and remove the old one first. Thanks
  18. Maybe I have been lucky but I have been successful buying a condo with Wise. I had on my bank book multiple Transfers over the last 2 years to BKKBANK with Wise, all tagged as international. It Was not straightforward, the 1st BKKBANK i've been told me to go to the branch were the account was opened and for them to decide. Lucky me it was in the same city.
  19. Thanks but No, i'm not buying a replacement yet as there will be some renovation going on and I'd like the old one to get out of the way now that i see it is useless
  20. New condo, I was thinking about getting this mattress cleaned but unfortunately after checking under the bedsheet i found out that it is good for the bin. Anyone has the contact of a person / company who can get rid of this for me for a fee (I'm in nakluea). Google search has not been successful so far. No need to suggest that I wait for the council garbage collectors truck and ask them, involve condo staff in that matter or drag the mattress and leave it in the street. There must be a company that will take care of this in pattaya for few hundreds. Thanks in advance.
  21. You know that any question a bit tricky has a big risk to be replied by "Cannot" and then you can never go back to that same personn even if you prove her wrong. Thanks for your interest anyway
  22. Yeah, I wrote "can I still obtain the necessary confirmation form from kasikorn that the funds are coming from abroad". To be more precise, I Should have said: If I use this money that will be deposited in the future with SCB to buy a condo, can KASIKORN provide any needed confirmation that the funds came one day to them from abroad before being transferred to SCB. OR should I ask Kasikorn for this form before moving the money? In that case will it be valid with no limited date in the future for condo purchase? I never bought a condo so the exact form of what they need as a proof of fund coming from abroad is unknown to me. Hope it is more clear and that someone who have experienced this situation can answer.
  23. Good morning, Over the last 2 years, I've transferred from europe around 1M baht to Kasikorn in a dozen of small transfers. I want to move this money to an other Thai bank (SCB) to get a better interested rate. The account with SCB is already opened. Just wondering, in case of i want to use this money one day to buy a condo, can I still obtain the necessary confirmation form from kasikorn that the funds are coming from abroad if i've moved all the money to SCB? Thanks
