I paid about 600k school fees (full year with meals, no school bus) for my child in Key Stage 2. The school promises 181 school days minimum, so this works out to about 3300 Baht per school day. Due to covid lockdown, 57 days were done on zoom (extremely low quality, i would say it was just 5% of real classroom). We were refunded a paltry 15000 Baht, working out to 260 Baht a day.
Interesting breakdown. Not a good relief package, Thats not fair to parents. Wonder where our anger can be heard.

They are not "required" but some do. We got a 15% refund on this period. Not much but better than nothing.
Do you appreciate ? Better than nothing ?

The standards of the teaching have already been disappointing. With the current situation of Covid-19, study at home is the only option to keep this going. I am totally at lost paying exorbitant fees. Effectiveness is a big question. Studying where is no big deal now, examination is not going to prove anything. Pretty disappointing how school managed.

Does International School required to offer refund for current situation (study at home). Its has been awhile
since the school has been asked to closed due to Covid-19 until further further notice. School at S31 aren't
responding and we parents have to accept full school fees payment ?

Why would you check with immigration? they don't issue work permits.
Department of Labour might be a better place to ask.
Thank you for the replies. It make sense at the Dept of Labour where they issue work permit.

I am an Engineer with a work permit. If I like to organize some private classes over weekend do I still need another work permit to teach ?
Appreciate all seniors for this relevant advise.

Went yesterday for my second 90 days reporting at CW. Grumbled and felt its kind of inconvenience. Reached 8.20am, saw the dragon queue. Cursed !
Got No.8x, thought my day at CW will end at 3pm. However A Counters were smooth and swift, got my reporting done at 10am. Keep it up !
Just a note, online processing was unsuccessful, it has to be done 10-15 days before 90 days ! Wonder if its true ?

Not so nice Tourism Minister ? Welcome foreigners warmly ok ? Too much negative issues aren't healthy for Thailand.

24 hr open. a few minutes of processing. no queue at all. BUT there is a 200 Baht administration fee ???? paid to who ? No need documents.

21-25 Dec (stay until 26 Dec 2018) . Will this be too late ? Hope to receive some advises. Thank you.

Let's be fair. Registered and make your marriage legitimate. You can't do this back home. There's regulation everywhere including Thailand, immigration here is no longer like the past. I do not support bribery but you know you should count yourself lucky encounter. What if you are blacklist? You lose more. Again you can't do this back home.

May I know how many days you have estimately stayed in Thailand in each year ? Spare some thoughts ?
