Question on Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa
Cutty Shark replied to Cutty Shark's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thank you for the helpful answers. -
Hi. In December 2023 I received a Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa with this information: Date of grant: 14 December 2023 Visa must be used by: 10 June 2024 Length of stay in Thailand: 60 days I arrived in Thailand on 31 Dec 2023. I flew to Laos and back on 26-27 Feb and was given 60 days until 26 Apr. Can I take a flight out on 26 Apr and receive another 60 days on my return to Thailand the next day? Thank you.

Is that the Red Cross clinic on Ratchadamri Road?

Hi, I’d appreciate your recommendations: I entered Thailand on Dec 31, 2023, and am permitted to stay until Feb 28, 2024. After that, I want to stay in Thailand just two more months. I could get an early morning flight to Vientiane on Feb 26 or Feb 27, get a visa-on-arrival there, and then return to Thailand in mid-afternoon that same day. Alternatively, I wonder if there is a good service for crossing and reentering at a land border. Could you advise me on this, please? Thanks!

Do visitors from the US and UK need Lao visas for a one-night stay in Vientiane?

Hi, I'm the OP. Thanks for the advice so far. I'll answer your questions for clarification: I'm 73. I will spend almost all of my time in Bangkok while in Thailand. I have no specific plans to visit other countries though that would be okqy. I'll probably want to make other visits to Thailand in the future.

I would like to stay in Thailand at least six months, and up to ten months if possible. I’m an American citizen who is now in the USA, though I’ve previously lived in Thailand for several years. Could you please advise me on what visa or documentation I should prepare and what I’ll need to do when that visa expires. Thank you.

Setting up IPhone while on vacation in home country
Cutty Shark replied to Cutty Shark's topic in General Topics
Thank you. I'll go to T Mobile when I arrive. -
Hi. I'm planning a trip to the US this year after being away for many, many years. I'll be taking my IPhone with me, so I'd like to request your help on how to activate the phone once I get there. Please understand that I'm a complete beginner at this, so I'd appreciate if you could clearly explain the steps I should take to activate my phone when I arrive in the US. Thanks!

Hi. I have a full-time job and a part-time job in Bangkok, each with a work permit and with extension of stay until September. I want to leave the part-time job in May but keep the full-time job. When I cancel the part-time job work permit, would I be required to leave the country, or could I stay until September by keeping my full-time job? Also, when I got the part-time job years ago, I had to get the full-time employer to sign some document. When I cancel the part-time job, would the full-time employer be involved? Do you know of any other possible complications with this move? Thanks for your advice.

Hey, thanks for that list of proverbs. Several of them were ones I was looking for. There are still a bunch of others that I need, so if you should hear of other similar lists, I'd appreciate if you'd let me know. Cheers!

Hi. I'm trying to find a list of English language proverbs translated into Thai. I've googled this but could only get Thai proverbs into English. Could you help me with this, please?

Looking for ready-to-cook pizza crusts
Cutty Shark replied to Cutty Shark's topic in Western Food in Thailand
Thanks, friends, for your recommendations. I'll check into them. -
I'm trying to find ready-to-cook pizza crusts of medium thickness for personal cooking. However, I can find only very thin pizza crusts. Could anyone advise me on this, please.

Injury around elbow from 10 pin bowling
Cutty Shark replied to homeseeker's topic in Health and Medicine
Hi, Homeseeker. I was interested positively in your specifying of "10-pin bowling" rather than simply "bowling." This makes me wonder whether you, like me, are from the Baltimore-Pittsburgh area, the home of my beloved duckpin bowling. -
I appreciate all the advice I received on this subject.
