Since all the backlash the restaurant issued this apology, I say too late, the damage is done.
“We sincerely apologize for our rude comments and bad attitudes. We have realized our mistakes and will work hard to improve our food services, attitude, [and] behavior,”
Quoteimprove our food services, attitude, [and] behavior,” ..should run like a red transparent thread through every Restaurant..to learn "attitude",well i think you either have it in you or not.

That said,Corruption,Police force and schooling/education is some of my BIG negatives..well also the non English speaking population, well most of them..Other then that, love it,not every day mind you,but i rather live here then in Sweden, said sadly..Have a great one everyone..:-)

I was walking on the sidewalk along Phloen Chit Road last night at 8 and a large guy on a large bicycle comes at me and I dismissively swing my arm to wave him past me on my left and he looks at me like I'm crazy. I'm not crazy, I'm 81, a feather can knock me down and it can be serious. Thais have no consideration for people who are strangers to them, none.
Correct,i'm on bicycle and Thais have ZERO knowledge regarding driving safely...ZERO.
Hope he will recoverfully and if the Thai man was drunk and at fault...PAYUP or Jail.Guess the Brit didn't have an insurance cause his old and VERY VERY expensive.

It's very sad that we see not only such regular violence from teachers here, but such apathy from the police who should treat such crimes far more aggressively and swiftly than they do. The pathetic penalties often dished out don't help matters either. When you strike a student or child, and it is a 5 year mandatory prison sentence, we may see the levels come down.
...should read...The pathetic Policeforce often does not their work,no pride in wearing their uniform at all..

Not sure if it is allowed to post web site name. Ordering from TOD (Tokyo on Demand). They send packages as "gift" with a declared price lower than 2000thb, so I never had problems with customs.
Thank you very much.

God morning from a very nice Udon-Thani!
Well, first you have the Teachers begging for help with their debt payments, and now the police, what's next, staff at the Hospitals i guess. What a joke, policewifes setting up some hole-in-the wall buissness..Ever heard of working OVERTIME..working hard..say 14-16 hours a day..like i did when i opened my bakery.
They just put a a small Policebox not for from were i live, and guess what hanging just infront the P-box..a freaking HAMMOCK..that's a sign in it self..It's patetic just to ask for acually do their work in a proper manner..
"
Another is to look at assets confiscated by the Anti-Money Laundering Office.
He added that he has contacted corporations to request scholarships for police officers’ children.
Should have sad:...request scholarships for police officers. To educate themself so they can do a PROPER Policework..and be abel to seek for higher paid spots/ranks..= more money...hey maybe even learn some English so they can talk whith all these Tourists waiting in the wings to come here and spend some holiday money..ToT just said that 10 millions are standing in queue..Many things can be said regarding the,in many cases, the lack of PROPER education of the Policeforce, and it's not to much POSITIVE thing to say..
Yeah,i know,but read it whith sarcasm in mind,okey ????
Have a great day everyone and thank you for reading my "morning rant";-)

God morning !
It's really heartbreaking to read something like this first time in the morning. When will the Goverment start getting REALLY serious about the drink driving/no licens/no insurance or tax..take the freaking car and crush it,same whith the licences,if they have one..Nearly every Thai/Farrang now werar and facemask..so what it the problem when it comes to enforce the law when it comes to crimes committed by drivers..Goverment/Police show hardly any work been done to solve this problem AT ALL.Shame on you, shame on you.
RIP the man who died.
Have a safe day everyone.

Drink driving is a problem in any country, but they take a very serious view of it with hefty fines and a minimum 12 months disqualification for first offence and often imprisonment for a subsequent offence. In addition there are mandatory alcohol awareness courses plus any insurance premiums afterwards are raised considerably. Drink drivers will not be caught whilst sitting drinking coffee under an awning, they need to be out patrolling the roads in cars or proper motorcycles. Policing in this country is a disgrace! Concern doesn't catch criminals!
....Policing in this country is a disgrace!...Agree 110%..

I'm still getting my daily walk along the beach and haven't suffered any side-effects of the murky air yet, anyway.
As an example of how bad it is, this is a picture I took yesterday from Jomtien of Koh Larn. If you look hard enough you can make it out in the smaze, but it should be crystal clear, not looking like that.
Are you sure your photo is from Thailand...because never ever seen a beach as clean as the one on the photo..;-)

Semi-annual pesiticide article.
I am not certain but believe residue level does not refer to surface residue, but to pesticide residues remaining in the entire fruit after production as a result of uptake. I mean seven of the nine items shown in the infographic are peeled before eating.
Washing your fruit and veg is admirable, assuming your water supply is safe. Unless you're performing some sort of elaborate chemical extraction you may be fooling yourself a bit?
Introducing peroxide seems just totally loopy, but we know it takes all kinds.
Before you use the word "loopy",try to get some knowledge..if you don't like how i do my cleaning whith Peroxcide, feel free to try EM,Vinegar or Bakingsoda to name a few.
