With the level of intrusion on personal privacy, they will have in Thailand from now on. The spy app they have dreamed up will keep people away. Only people desperate to reconnect with family would want to come and spend money in Thailand with no personal privacy at all. This sounds more like North Korea or China.

Short term with a handful of tourists, maybe, future years and millions , I seriously doubt it
I think Consulates may check

Fiji WINS BIG ON BOOKINGS :
Thousands of Australians book holidays as Fiji prepares for December 1 opening
Aussies have been yearning for an overseas holiday for two years – and one of the first places to open up is already being smashed with thousands of bookings.
Favourite island for Aussies to reopen
Island paradise hoping to be our new Bali
Epic trip Aussies are desperate to book
Aussies desperate for an overseas island getaway have jumped on their first opportunity to get away, flooding hotel and airline sites to book a Fiji holiday.
Fiji announced earlier this month it would be reopening its borders from December 1 to fully vaccinated Australians.
With other Aussie island favourites like Bali and Thailand still to confirm when they might welcome Australians back, thousands have embraced Fiji.
News.com.au understands a number of hotels have had seen their booking records broken over the past week, with one resort recording $60,000 worth of bookings in a single day.
Flights are also being snapped up, with only a handful of seats available on December dates.
NOw we have to avoid Fiji just like Bali

How can a person take such a risk? There were plenty of ways to avoid this, and plenty of time to get things straightened out, COVID and lockdowns or not. Just a horrible choice of risk vs. reward

China is taking over as the manufacturing hub of the world and there is nothing to stop it as, at the end of the day, people want cheap stuff - and it's not necessarily poor quality.
After this pandemic , China will cease to be be a power

I am so lucky ! I have found the list of cheap charlies ????
so incredible that some people buy the cheapest "cars" on the market and almost pretend to be proud !
no wonder why people can be tamed so easily and inject anything they are told to do, when they can also buy the cheapest chinese cars available in the world and do not feel ashamed...
Sitting and driving an MG once in the life is enough for anybody who knows what is a real car, to understand that even free they should not be accepted by anyone with a face...
English love supporting China

We are having a similar discussion about cars the MG5 which looks great. We will be needing a replacement (or to run in tandem) for our 13 year old Toyota Hilux soon which has done almost 300,000km. I will wait a few years until they (MG) have clocked up some mileage. The Toyota is "awesome" which is a word I don't use often. Drove to Phuket earlier this year never gave it a moments thought, total trust in the vehicle. Reliability for me is everything.
Yeah keep supporting China lol

I know it was nearly 10 years ago when I went, but had a hell of a day racing my old man round the reservoir, me on a 550cc 4x4 and my dad on an offroad motorbike. We swapped over several times, had a right blast.
Don't remember the mossies being particularly bad, although it was the first time I'd seen a fogging machine.

With Sinovac, other than the fact that it is cheaper than the other ones, you'll probably will have to take couple or more of booster shots to make it work and this is when the cheap become expensive...
not mentioning kowtowing ( i would have used stronger terms but it's not allowed) to the big brother China...
I heard Sinovac is more expensive

"Yutthasak said he was largely unconcerned by the delay"
of course he isnt, he is a billionaire and isnt affected by the lack of tourists.
and who cares about the effect that this ever-changing "opening" date has on tourist who might want to make plans ahead of time to come here.
I'd like to make a trip back to the US for the holidays, but cant make any plans due to the lack of a firm date that wouldnt require a lengthy isolation stay on my return or going to phuket to leave for a round trip back there to use the sandbox entrance
I left in July for USA I’m waiting for No Quarantine , Japan Airlines letting me change tickets for no fee $800 dollars RT which was. A deal especially being summer flight
