Was never offered any such option for USD to Thai on web site - although some forms of payment might take longer and/or cost more/less.
Done it for years option quicker transfer higher cost..always chose slow option less expensive and still quick anyway ..

Do you have an ATM card from one of the big banks? Most include accident insurance that will help pay for this sort of thing.
Yes mate I do but the bill was picked up by insurance except for 700 baht of service not inc

Unsurprisingly, it is Remain voters who are most in favour of a new EU referendum, with 41% saying there should be one this year, 61% saying so within the next five years, and 70% in the next ten years. By contrast, only 8% of Leave voters support a referendum in 2023, 16% think there should be one in the next five years, and 20% within the next ten years.
I haven't seen anything from the EU that indicates it wants the UK back in the EU fold and on what terms
Have to go back in our knees.. they'd love it

But, a good few insurances polices have an excess, mine new one from this year is 500 GBP, say 20000 baht, my old one was 1500 GBP 60 000 baht, if so, the OP would still have to pay most of the bill.
But saying that, my old Thai AIA would have paid it all, but that was up to a maximin of 60000 baht, but again, this year's renewal premium was 32000 baht, big increase age related, now not using that, you cannot win with insurance.
I paid 700 excess cash apparently for things not included in my insurance ..but not complaining now home ..
