Cambodia and Philippines no quarantine.
VTL to Singapore and from Singapore VTL to Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, and other countries are an option. You are required to take special VTL flights which when I looked were much more expensive than a regular flight. Not sure about VTL status now since I haven't looked post Omicron.

My girlfriend is looking to buy a new house in Pattaya concentrating in the Khao Talo area. She is looking at new builds around the 2 or 3 million mark. From your experiences how much is a Thai girl able to get off the list price for a new house? Builders offering her 100,000 off without negotiating. I'm sure a bigger discount can be negotiated but how much?

Lots of SHA Plus hotels for 1 night Test and Go including RT-PCR, transportation for less than 8500 baht. Some starting at 3500 baht on this commonly mentioned site on this board.

eVisa application requires that you provide your flight information.

The problem maybe within your application method. An employee with Thai Airways told me that using a Windows programme is often required. The disparity in response times between individuals could be attributed to the use Smart devices compared with desktops.
Desktop. Windows.
If I completed something incorrectly, aren't they supposed to let me know? I have heard nothing at all from them that any of my documents were incorrect.

Did you contact the embassy about it?
Yes, around 10 times during business hours. No one ever answers and voicemail is full. I also emailed them over a week ago and no reply. I also called the local Thai Consulate who said they can't help me (I need to apply to Federal Thai Embassy) but confirmed this is the frustration she is hearing from many.

Submitted and paid for eVisa application on November 16. I am applying from within the country I reside so thought the longest was going to be 3 days. 3 weeks and counting for me. eVisa application has read "pending document check" for about 2 weeks now. No one has contacted me for incorrect documentation.
Already cancelled my flight and hotel last week when I was supposed to depart for Thailand.

When changes have been made in the past Hotels have issued refunds, so you should be able to get the costs for the PCR refunded.
I’m not sure the price comparison for Airport Transport + Hotel room + PCR compared to ATK test, a PCR can cost from 2,500 so can that be removed from your payment??, ask the hotel and see what they
I am arriving after Dec. 1 but even if new Test and Go doesn't require 1 night hotel, transportation, and RT-PCR test I already prepaid my SHA Plus+ hotel 3500 baht deposit for these items and that is non-refundable. It says I pay the balance of the hotel amount when I arrive. Yes I know my mistake for booking non-refundable!
I'm assuming there's no chance of me getting my money back even though it's possible none of those services are required.

You received some very bad information from the hotel you booked. I also arrive early on the 3rd December (0:05) from Tokyo and my hotel booking is Dec 2nd with check out the 3rd. You need to book the 2nd because they set aside the room for you as of 3 PM on Dec 2nd.... if yo need to extend your stay one more night to stay the 3rd just book it as a non test & go on hotels.ca for $40 CDN per night but your test and go booking needs to be the 2nd....
I'm not saying you're not correct but according to some threads on the ASQ hotel forum it doesn't matter which day you book the hotel is "obligated" to provide your room for up to 24 hours until you get your test results back.
Here is one of the threads in the ASQ hotel forum. There are others.
I even offered the hotel to change the date to December 2 and I would book another night at the hotel for 2000 baht (same price as on hotels.ca) for December 3. They said there is no need I will not be charged a 2nd night until my test results are in. Hotel could have made extra money from me by booking a 2nd night but said I don't need to do that.
My Thai fiancee called the hotel too. The hotel confirmed they have done this for many people (booking a hotel on the date you arrive in Thailand even if it's just after midnight) and there has never been an issue. They assured her there will someone at the airport to pick me up.
The only thing I can think of if this is a hotel scam but I can't see them doing this. This is high end international hotel and they wouldn't ruin their reputation for something like this. I hope!

So what am I to do now? The hotel is paid for and non refundable. 3 different reservation people at the hotel have told me the booking is correct but it clearly doesn't follow the FAQ requirements.
Please can one of the moderators comment on this.

I'll be arriving in BKK after midnight <snip> If I arrive at the hotel on December 3 at 2 am, will I book a hotel for December 2 since it's before check in time or for December 3?
On 11/23/2021 at 12:20 AM, ThaiVisaCentre said:It would be Dec 2nd as the hotel will count it as the night for December 2nd.
On 11/22/2021 at 4:47 PM, Enzian said:The FAQ says Dec. 2 in that case. You can look it up. And you should instead of take my word.
According to my ASQ hotel booking the answer is December 3. I even went back to question them why it's not December 2 and they said guests will check in to the hotel on the same date as on the plane ticket. Since my plane ticket says I arrive on December 3 that is the night of my hotel confirmation.
This is a Sha Extra+ hotel on web.thailandsha.com/ , Also listed as a Test and Go hotel on thaiest.com and an ASQ hotel on asq.in.th
Should I be concerned? Where is this ASQ FAQ?
Can any of the mods confirm the hotel is correct?

Was searching on Agoda for Test and Go hotels last night. Nice hotels usually around $250-300 cdn including RT-PCR test, etc. Found a very nice Bangkok hotel under the Thailand Pass search. It said $72 cdn. What a deal I thought. Chose my room only to find there is a huge surcharge at the bottom of the page making the price well over $300 cdn (8000+ baht). Luckily I looked closely. I'm sure the odd person would have clicked Purchase on a non refundable room rate more than they may have thought.

I have a really silly question but just want to make sure. When applying for the eVisa it says "Please upload appropriate photograph taken within six month. ". I am assuming this can be a centered photo I take of myself today with a white background and does not have to be an official passport photo.

I'll be arriving in BKK after midnight so likely won't arrive at the AQ hotel until 2 am. Can anyone refer me a hotel where I will only have to book 1 night hotel / vary early check in or late check out? If I arrive at the hotel on December 3 at 2 am, will I book a hotel for December 2 since it's before check in time or for December 3?

No travel to Bkk Airport hotel under the scam, I mean scheme and then once negative result comes in skip to Pattaya with my usual taxi service.
I just checked and the Novotel Bangkok Suvarnabhumi hotel does not have 1 night test and go. Am I looking at the wrong site? Are you referring to another hotel in the airport I'm not aware of offering 1 night test and go?

This used to be a big thing before but I haven't read about it lately. Do Farang still need to have 20k baht in cash on their person when entering Thailand? Read horror stories before that Thailand didn't care if you have 1 million baht in your bank account you were denied entry if you could not prove you had 20k baht in cash.

Did a quick search and couldn't find a recent thread on this.
Looking for some sites where I can find an inexpensive condo to rent near a BTS station (On Nut to Ploen Chit). Is Hipflat the best one?

At this point in time you will be struggling to get a direct flight, unless you want to risk Thai Airways.
Are there safety issues with Thai Airways that I should be aware of? I've flown Thai Airways and Thai Smile and have no complaints with either service wise.

I do not have a German or American passport. However, will I still be able to skip quarantine if I can show I was in the USA or Germany for over 14 days immediately prior to flying to Thailand?

They appear to specialize in Massaman. They have with chicken legs or beef Tenderloin.
I had the chicken version at 150 baht. This was the best Massaman that I've had in Pattaya and that includes the famous place on Pattaya Klang.
I'll definitely give this place a try. thanks.

Kudos to the Airport Police. They showed great restraint. This guy should have been tasered.
