Lots of jokes in this thread, but OP if you're not trolling, I advise you to be very careful of being manipulated. She is using the same tactics scores of other women from Thailand use to extract money and/or Visas from foreign men.
Beyond this advice if you want to take such a big risk, it's your choice.
If you have that much goodwill and money that you want to give it away, volunteer and donate to a Thai children's orphanage.

We're all wanting to stay here as long as possible, otherwise we would have left home or to another Southeast Asian country already (as some have to Cambodia and Vietnam).
Issues related to the name of this forum is what's the problem really.

Family is the most important thing to Thai women, more important than farang boyfriends for sure.
You may not see them hugging and embracing, but when push comes to shove (usually at a balcony!), the foreign bf is the one to go.

I don't wear sunglasses either. Bright sun doesn't bother me, maybe it doesn't bother them. None of my English friends seem to wear sunglasses either.
Yes it does seem to be a more American thing, doesn't it?

It seems many Farangs can not stop wife's from open any business that they know nothing about
These women (and that's the most of them) are either really bored at home, or want the "status" of being a boss/manager of something. Sitting there acting like they own a shop so they can invite their friends and family over to look.
Childish.

Welcome to Thailand
I've been here quite a while but this attaching smartphones to the dashboard thing seems recent. The old DVD player with LCD screen yes I know.
That smartphone is not their regular phone by the way, they have another one specifically for calling. Guess they must be doing pretty well
-
Something I've been noticing recently is TVs inside taxis - in the front so the driver can watch DVDs or actual streamed shows while driving you! There is also a modification they are doing to fit a smartphone into the centre of the dashboard, streaming shows the whole time.
I've already been with 3 drivers over the past 2 months doing this and yes they are actually glancing and watching the screens. This is so unsafe, unfair to customers and downright dishonorable.
I mean people are paying you to drive them safely to their destination, the least you can do is not watch TV while you do your job right! They need the added entertainment for themselves?
Crazy!

We were happiest when we lived far, far away from them.
Good advice for many here.

That's great to know. Maybe I should consider moving then? Hmm...

thailand is better and cheaper.
In what sense is Thailand cheaper? I never got that impression.

People are friendlier and nicer overall. But as far as "modern" needs go like faster internet and some other amenities, Bangkok is better.

As a thirty-year veteran of sex tourism in Thailand, I find your tone offensive; as explained above I can meet and greet with the best of them. Being a wanton libertine is no barrier to politesse.
Alright, I'll apologise to you in particular.

I guess guys on extended sex holidays with hookers don't really like being addressed. Or they scoff at every other farang while not noticing how every other Thai laughs at them.

OK, this new format does not include the chain of quotes so maybe there was something lost due to that but I asked where in the world a woman stays with a man when he runs out of money.
By your suggesting Pattaya, I would guess you have misunderstood my question.
Oh I see. Sorry then.
But yes this new quoting format is confusing.

Being educated in terms of knowing how those places in the world work? Not many. Eg. Pattaya.
