Happened to me once, never again, I'm no good with Internet bookings and I don't trust them. Now I go to flight center in London and in person and fly through Thai Airways or Eva brilliant service and cheap also I have to say they will match Internet prices if found they are above.

To clarify on this post, I'm now a Councillor for people in dark places, and trust me there are many, now in my life I can open up and help people who are or were in my place 13 years ago. What I was really trying to say is, Thailand is a special place in my heart, it saved me it made me realise life is special, if you find that happiness then you will understand. But unfortunately living in a country that saved you or more importantly a country that you love is easier said than done if you're not financially able to do. All I said in my post is if your in a better financial situation, then your lucky. I wasted my life, I will get back there but I will never be in a position to live there all the time. But after all this, I admire the people who never have to go back to their country of origin. Take care all.

Hi everyone, I always look and listen to posts on here and my experience is the people who complain about Thailand are the people who live there. My little story is a bit different. 13 years ago I went to Thailand to end it all, after getting off the plane and 3 days later I realised life is special, the Thai life appealed too me, to cut a long story short, now back in Thailand I have a lovely daughter, unfortunately not with my wife anymore my love for her will never die and to the haters of thai women.......it was all my fault......what I'm trying to say is with tears in my eyes, if people have the financial gains to live in Thailand ,then do it, unfortunately for me my living is in London, I'm a London cab driver and I have to go back to a country I can't stand anymore, what with its political <deleted>. People say Thailand is corrupt, well thank god people are starting to see how corrupt the west is. I really wish I could write properly but to the expats who live back in Thailand I will say this....come back to the west for even a holiday and trust me, you will never complain about Thailand again, as for me I really think its over. My body is now in London but my heart and soul is back in Thailand and you can't live a life like that. God bless all.....
