  1. Hello all, Having a little isssue with a hive of bees moving into one of the outside house tool cupboards. I have been avoiding the need to use any of the items stored in the cupboard in the hope they will move out to a new location at somep stage, but alas it has now come to a point that i do need access to the items within the said cupboard. If i was able to clear my items out of the cupbaord i would happily let nature take its course on thier departure. They look only small in size and my limited reasearch tend toward them being native honey bees. They keep themselves to themselves and do not behave in an agressive manner. So, located Suthatip, 15 min out of the hat yai cbd. Any leads or advice on relocation or removal crews woul be warmly accepted.
  2. Very true, the correct expression is "concurent" passport's. Not uncommon in the offshore industry due to needing one one your person in case of cyclone or simillar evac to a country next door whilst your second copy is in a embassy getting visa stamped for the next overseas job.
  3. As you stated 2 hours would/ is the norm in Australian cities from time bib ask until punter is having a blood collection done. I will say this bloke deserves some credit as he appears to have stayed around and not blamed the gardner.
  4. I have experienced the same. Around 2 days after lodging an application for a 1 year extention on a 30 day non immi O based on my 8yo son being a Thai national. My entry was when you required a COE to get into the Kingdom just over 2 years ago. Was all very polite and routine as far as i was concerned. I received a call prior to the officers arrival and was done with completing similar formalities as the origonal poster within 5 min.
  5. My parents taught my eldest brother to drive and after that experience sent the rest of us off to an acredited driving instructor when our time was due. One of the many good pieces of advice i recived from those lessons was when you need to make a turn across oncoming traffic, after coming to a total stop, LEAVE your steering in the position of staight ahead from the direction you were traveling and DO NOT turn the wheel in the direction of intended traval UNTIL you move off in that direction. It is fair to say being shunted from the rear and being forced in the direcion of your initial travel is not pleasant, and still very dangerous, but it is almost unquestionably better than having the steering turned and being pushed into oncoming traffic. My condolences go out to all those involved.
  6. Some of the newer bluetooth models towards the top end of the selection have a function that will filter all other noise except voice. It generaly can be set at variable levels. I use it (Sony earbuds) and find it works quite sucesfully with the only downside now being that i cant claim not to have heard the darling wife ask me to do something.
  7. Have had to have some rather extensive dealing with the Hat Yai office over the last 9 months. Found them to be very polite, friendly, helpful, and most importantly Patiencet while struggling to get the paperwork sorted. As mentioned by one of the previous posts they are almost solely higher ranking officers, so they have the ability to give you a definitive answer to any questions. Only advice is don't turn up after 3pm and expect to have paperwork processed on the spot with a smile.
  8. Have any of the forum members got advice on a law firm in Hat Yai to due the due diligence and paperwork on a house purchase. We know the current owner and don't expect it to be a complex matter, BUT wanting to have the "I's" dotted and the "T's" crossed as per legal requirements. If they had some English language abilities it would be a BONUS but not absolutely necessary. Thanks in advance.
  9. Hello, looking for advice on business here in Thailand that are capable of stripping existing chrome and paint from cruiser style motobike rims and then re-chroming said parts and doing any relative adjustment to the spokes. Rims are currently in the south of the Kingdom but prepared to ship them as require in order to have a quality finish. Thanks in advance.
