  1. Pupen is very popular for seafood. The Kebabist is a good quite new Indian place in Jomtien. Indian By Nature also great. Masala Twist decent too.
  2. When I saw the title I thought you would be looking for an American handyman. Was expecting comments about work permits not being given to foreigners for such occupations.
  3. Ok thanks for the info and the rough price range - definitely would be wanting to avoid any cowboys as have heard horror stories. Do you know what the typical construction time is for something like this? It will be in the Pattaya area but for later on in the year - just wanted to do a bit of research now to see what to expect and then go and get some quotes etc in a couple of months from now
  4. Could anyone tell me approximately what it would cost to get the following pool built? And also the estimated actual construction time? 8x4m overflow salt water pool I appreciate that price and build time could vary depending on many things - but just looking for some ballpark estimates based on anyone with recent experience of current costs etc.
  5. He handed himself in https://ch3plus.com/news/social/morning/328542
  6. Do you need a PCR test to leave Thailand? I thought you just needed one if the country you are travelling to required it?
  7. I think after 5 days she can pay to do another test to potentially end home quarantine early, doing the 'Test to release' option. Check this link: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-test-to-release-for-international-travel As for getting vaccinated in the UK - it should be no problem at all. Check this out: https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/visiting-or-moving-to-england/visitors-from-outside-the-european-economic-area-eea/ But to be fully vaccinated she will need to obviously remain in UK until she get the 2nd dose (time between doses will depend on vaccine). And then wait 14 days after 2nd dose before being considered fully vaccinated. Good luck
  8. Great - thanks for the info, I hadn't seen that thread
  9. Does anyone know where to get the yellow vaccine book/passport thing that will be required for travel? I saw details about how to get in BKK but wondered if there are any places locally to get one
  10. And yesterday at Central Festival they were appointments sent via sms rather than walk ins.
  11. According to the image it starts at 1pm today but no doubt the queue will already be big by now
