TIT.... This is Thailand.... Many years ago, supposedly RUSSIA gave communism the boot. If you are in Thailand and you have a look around.... You can see where that communism went.... (Thailand's best bed-partner, CHINA included)...... This Alcohol thing and business not allowed to do business as usual is nothing but a money grabber for the authorities and has the 'authorities pockets' bulging...... I have almost 45 years past with Thailand, I am married to the most wonderful Thai wife 25 years, and I LOVE Thai 'common People', but I hate those who control them (Authorities) and steal them blind and keep them poor.... THIS RESTRUANT RAID has no concern for 'Thai's', ONLY money for the authorities....

WOW!!!!! That is about the same as giving the TALIBAN in Afghanistan more Military Supplies.... Very Sad... That the intended 'poor' will never see it....... Very Sad, indeed....

Being as how we are talking about THAILAND........... I can't help but wonder what this government has in mind as 'Help'........... After the graft is done I can only guess that the help will be about 500 or 1000 baht monthly..... Certainly not enough to help with a car or land or cow.......

What is the governor apologizing for???? That he was so busy stuffing his pockets with that tax money that he didn't get around to spending any of it on 'Flood Control' and prevention?????

I think she has basic good intent.....Probably a bit over cautious as uneducated Thais can be...... But 'I Think'..... If you look past this and judge by 'other things', You will love her to bits..... IF NOT..... Kiss her bye-bye..... It is so simple.....

I think 'comfy'.... Many passengers will have a whole row of seats to lay down and sleep... Even those Cargo flights will bring in foreign crews that will spend money... More if they can find a restaurant serving drinks....

This lady didn't take time to think about walking moment in the 'other guy's shoes', as my mother taught me......... In other words: take a moment to think about the 'OTHER PERSON'S ' side of the situation.... As if she was out there on those ropes..... So many years ago my mother taught me to think about what it is like to walk a mile in that other person's shoes for a day -- attempt to think like them.... To figure out 'THEIR' reasoning.... Often when doing that you can understand how they were right and YOU were wrong.... A lesson for us all..... My mother tried to teach me many valuable lessons, Rest Her Soul.....

As pissy as that 20 million amount (For the job funded)... It will be a lot less, depending on how many grafter's hands it passes thru before arriving in the proper account.....

Have you seen the North Korean guy KIM pictured smiling as he watches some of his own soldiers have their hands smashed with a sledge hammer (among other torturous training) --- AS TRAINING..... I admire you and the Thai wife... What a great achievement.... Sorry to say that i been married 53 years to 4 wives.... (It has been a bit like the 'kiddie' merry-go-round... 2 American and 2 Thai wives.... Number 4 is Thai and I joke with her - we been together 25 years so 'That makes you the 'winner'..... That is what I joked with her recently..........

A VERY stupid comparison........ The answer, since you are so uneducated to know it: maybe 1% might die versus the 99% who will be 'saved'............

With all the road fatalities and crazy drivers in Thailand..... I prefer something strong around me and family..... That is why I prefer to drive a PICKUP truck..... 4 door......
