    Processing and discussion ?

I think that will be negotiations ($$$) !

TIT.... This is Thailand.... Many years ago, supposedly RUSSIA gave communism the boot. If you are in Thailand and you have a look around.... You can see where that communism went.... (Thailand's best bed-partner, CHINA included)......

This Alcohol thing and business not allowed to do business as usual is nothing but a money grabber for the authorities and has the 'authorities pockets' bulging......

I have almost 45 years past with Thailand, I am married to the most wonderful Thai wife 25 years, and I LOVE Thai 'common People', but I hate those who control them (Authorities) and steal them blind and keep them poor.... THIS RESTRUANT RAID has no concern for 'Thai's', ONLY money for the authorities....

  2. I think she has basic good intent.....Probably a bit over cautious as uneducated Thais can be......

But 'I Think'..... If you look past this and judge by 'other things', You will love her to bits..... IF NOT..... Kiss her bye-bye..... It is so simple.....

110 international flights with 7000 travellers.

Is it including the crew or just tourists?

    110/7000= 63.6 passengers per flight.

    Wowwww

I think 'comfy'.... Many passengers will have a whole row of seats to lay down and sleep...

Even those Cargo flights will bring in foreign crews that will spend money... More if they can find a restaurant serving drinks....

  4. This lady didn't take time to think about walking moment in the 'other guy's shoes', as my mother taught me......... In other words: take a moment to think about the 'OTHER PERSON'S ' side of the situation.... As if she was out there on those ropes.....

So many years ago my mother taught me to think about what it is like to walk a mile in that other person's shoes for a day -- attempt to think like them.... To figure out 'THEIR' reasoning....

Often when doing that you can understand how they were right and YOU were wrong.... A lesson for us all.....

My mother tried to teach me many valuable lessons, Rest Her Soul.....

  5. I admire you and the Thai wife... What a great achievement....

Sorry to say that i been married 53 years to 4 wives.... (It has been a bit like the 'kiddie' merry-go-round...

2 American and 2 Thai wives....  Number 4 is Thai and I joke with her - we been together 25 years so 'That makes you the 'winner'..... That is what I joked with her recently..........

  6. With all the road fatalities and crazy drivers in Thailand..... I prefer something strong around me and family.....

That is why I prefer to drive a PICKUP truck..... 4 door......

It shouldn't be the responsibility of average people to figure this out.
What if you have a "fake" note?  Are you then suspect?  Do they take your "fake" note and leave you without compensations?

In the USA that is 'EXACTLY WHAT THEY DO'..... I have had a $20 and a $100 (This $100 I was suspicious of) confiscated here at my bank..... Those 'scanning (counting) machines' they use at money changers in Thailand and Banks everywhere are made to detect counterfeit bills.... When I take cash to Thailand, I normally ask my bank here in the USA to give me 'perfect' bills of the latest or newest printing... I've done it often before Covid and no problem.....

Maybe 2-3 years ago an American Friend of mine who has lived in Pattaya for 10-15 years went to Cambodia and saw in a market place that they were selling packs of 50 Fake $100 bills for a couple dollars..... He bought a pack of them and flew back to Thailand with them... Just for novelty, without intent to pass them -- just give them to friends and girls.... I asked him when he told me the story... WHAT IF THEY HAD CAUGHT YOU AT AIRPORT..... and arrested you for possession of a large quantity of 'counterfeit money'....... He then realized how he risked largely... only for a bit of fun.....

Unfortunately,  a pit bull who does this will never stop attacking,  and may end up killing a human.  What happens  then is the question?  Whos fault is it then?  What happens  if the dog gets killed during and attack?  Will the person  being attacked  have a fine?  Where is this at?  Are there any signs that gove a warning?  It's one of the most dangerous  breeds in the world and prohibited  in some countries.  Why do Thais of all people, who don't in many cases, have an understanding  of a canines diet, even have such an animal?

Yes...... 'Face'....... Stupid people think these dogs make them look 'Daring' and 'Loving' at the same time.... Or something similar, In the eyes of other 'Hiso friends'.... They are STUPID........ AND you can't fix STUPID...... So you must 'fight FIRE WITH FIRE....  THOSE WHO HAVE THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF INTELLEGENCE can beat this STUPID bunch....   Rat poison has Arsenic in it... Mixed with other dog food It does the job.... But bear in mind that the rat poison is geared toward a creature less than Half a Kilo..... Arsenic builds up in a body, never vacates that body, so for a dog of 10-15 kilo, You could need 10-15 doggie snacks before you see results...  So compare a rats size to a dogs size to decide what is required, and don't forget that it builds up in a body and never vacates a body.... I use rat poison fairly often for Rats and Gophers... A few years ago I had one of my 'pet dogs' find and eat some rat poison and that dog in a few days time dwindled away and died... a lesson for me about keeping my pets safe.... Just a bit of my personal experience with dogs... I hope it is helpful to this forum..

Anyone else notice that the OP started the topic and left?

I really do think that there's a few members in recent months who just make up a troll thread to draw attention.

    #LockdownBoredom ?

Yes.... This is something to be considered also.... There are a few trolls around on this forum.... But the feedback I am reading is worth that possibility/risk... I still find most replies helpful in case this actually happens near you/me.....

Correct, I will be the first to tell you how hard it is to find a really good lawyer even a Thai one, in the end you get what you pay for the lawyer I use now just happen to be a friend of the family Thai but raised, educated in the U.S. and based in Bangkok.  Yes any good lawyer will not charge you for just to hear you problem.

Would you be open to 'Personal Mail' from other posters, as this one in OP, for recommendations to your lawyer and his location....I don't think lawyers need to be in your same area to be helpful.....Lawyers in Thailand cost MUCH, MUCH, LESS, than in Most countries, and I have had good results with a Thai Attorney some 40 years ago...

Even in Thailand there is a thing called " Criminal " and Civil "  based on what you wrote you have a clear indication as to who the owner of the dog.  Some has the  belief that the police is completely in charge as " judge and jury " if one believe that then stop reading especially if one believe of retaliation if one takes it further.  I would get a good lawyer

( English speaking and comprehending )  file a Civil lawsuit with a injunction against owner that stops any movement of assets sadly one got to spend money to get money that would include anywhere in the world including Thailand. The Civil portion should put pressure on the police on criminal charges.

Many cases you don't need to pay a lawyer to talk and get information... If you had to pay it would be minimal and well worth it.... Talk to your friend to seek out a lawyer... It could be a very good solution... Maybe talk to 2-3 different lawyers would be better....

  12. Now days I am receiving emails similar to this...... I first look at the 'address' of who sent it to me......

If the sender address isn't an official address of companies I do business with.... I dismiss it and click on spam.... I am getting many of these now days... and checking the address of the sender can give you a clue it is spam.... trying to get some of your personal info....

MY ADVISE:    never reply to an email received but contact that company WITHOUT replying to the email you received...
