Prayuth government legalizing pot and possibly casinos?  He continues to surprise

Desperation.  Prior to Covid tourist levels were only being maintained by low spending package tours full of Chinese.  Why would real tourists come here.  What has changed, what has been developed to encourage people to come?

So you haven't told them you live abroad........or you file with commercial (paid for) software?

For others benefit if no longer officially tax resident in the UK you are supposed to file SA109 as part of your return (even though it is more just box ticking) and this form is not available on the basic gov.uk online return.

So with other stuff I end up having to do a paper return.

But I am just being pig headed in not paying for software where it is to pay the govt. tax.......

123efiling, simple to fill in the forms with guides incorporated into the software and free to complete but £15 to submit.  I am unaffiliated but find it time saving and easy to use.

You just described something I have NEVER seen in Thailand..... EVER.... Not in restaurants anyway. I have only ever seen the odd person drinking beer with 95% of thais drinking water or Pepsi, also I have never seen Thais being noisy or boystrous in restaurants, they are usually very reserved and I have never seen groups of Thais spewing saliva all over the place. But I have been in the occasional place that has been packed and no amount of drinking would imcrease the cloud of viral particles floating in the air in that case.

If that is your idea of the Thailand where you live..... MOVE.

You need to get out more ????????

I also live in HH and successfully registered on 'expatvac' Aug 14.  I have read comments on other threads from people (expats 60+ years old) getting their 1st shot via expatvac but I have not seen any posts or comments claiming that people successfully received Pfizer at HH Hospital.  Even though there was a story from Hua Hin Today's monthly newpaper (posted on aseannow last week) claiming that HH Hospital had an allotment of Pfizer.

Like you I have received no appointment email from HH Hospital for Pfizer or even Sinovac (which I will decline if that's all they offer).

Received from Expatvac about 10 days ago. And my wife, neighbours and friends X 3.  Confirmed for Hua Hin hospital.  And yes it was Pfizer.

As you register for Pfizer vaccine from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ministry of Foreign Affairs Confirmed receipt of such vaccination to the hospital where you has registered. The hospital, Confirmed Pfizer Vaccination on 24/08/2021  from 08:30 am  - 04:00 pm.
Please prepare the certificate 1.Passport or a copy of your Passport.

  5. I am from UK so no embassy letters available.  Para 7 of that sheet is also an OR also state proof of income.  You do not mention the paperwork you gave them provided by the bank.  To prove my 65k income I need the annual bank statement issued from the bank, the credit advice notes for each deposit sometimes as many as 20 and a letter from the bank in Thai showing stating my deposits come from abroad.  A copy of my updated passbook showing the account is still active.  Not every deposit I make is shown in the passbook because I only update it maybe twice a year.  I also take my company pension statement to show the source.  As long as the thickness of the paperwork you supply them with is around 3/4 to 1 inch thick I am sure you will succeed.

I have heard that Thai nationals are in the front of the queue for the vaccine. That makes no sense in terms of the spread of the virus. The virus doesn't care what nationality you are, and putting any group ahead of another , unless it is based on risk category, puts the entire country at a greater risk. Getting the vaccine is not just about an individual becoming immune, it's about protecting the entire population from infection, by vaccinating at risk groups first, then working your way down the risk curve. What passport you hold is irrelevant to your risk category.

It works out cheaper for the Thais to be vaccinated first.  Foreigners pay for tests and treatment.  The Thai government pays for treatment of Thais.  Simple maths, lack of moral compass and greed really.

You can only get a yellow book if your married to a Thai. I havnt been sent any tax request for my Condos. But Thais have been sent a tax bill. When I  enquired I was told only Thais pay the tax. Yellow book and pink ID card means nothing chanote does. I havent has a Pink card since I went to Heaven and GAY Pride in Vuaxhall in the 90s

Anyone can get a Yellow Book.  My Gay friend has one for a villa.  I know tenants who have them.  They only register you at that address.
