  1. With that mentality you may as well close all the roads in Thailand as well then - as more people are dying from ‘roads’ than covid, and have been for years.
  2. Infections are not the issue. When Onicron was first identified it was said that it is 70 times more transmissible. So what do they expect? The data confirms that it is no longer the threat is was, or thought it could be. We have vaccines to protect the weak and vulnerable. So, as much as I don’t like having a bucket of water thrown at me whilst driving my bike, they should get real and open up fully for Songkran. It is a real opportunity to stop the damage being caused by restrictions and the spread of ‘fear’ Wake up and open up Thailand.
  3. for·ti·fy /ˈfôrdəˌfī/ provide (a place) with defensive works as protection against attack. "the enclave has been heavily fortified in recent years"
  4. Omicron will be everywhere, especially now. It’s not a threat anymore - especially now we can vaccinate the vulnerable. If they are going to open on the basis that they will test - it won’t work. Other countries will soon lead the way and Thailand will follow. For once, I’m hoping Songkran will be a full-on affair - bring on the buckets and ditch the masks. Let’s get back to (the old) normal.
  5. Still talking about bubbles.. Time to stop the fear - it’s doing far much damage than the virus. Open the borders, vaccinate the vulnerable. Let’s get back to the old normal.
