  1. Hi All I'm after info really regarding a location/s that might be of interest to source for this years St. Patricks Say on the 17th March. Before I get assumed responses about farang drinking etc etc, there's no judgment required and my reason is purely wanting to attend something like a social gathering of sorts and to honour my fathers memory. I did source this info... 'The Green Beer Party at Patong Beach in Phuket is a fun-filled event where attendees can enjoy green beer, a St. Patrick’s Day tradition and the party also includes live music and dance performances, making it a memorable event for all'. But I'm unable to get any more info such as is it a real thing that's actually happening etc, so if anybody has any info regarding that or can advice about anything else happening in Phuket on the 17th I'd be very appreciative. Have a fantastic day guys! 🙂
  2. Hi I’ve spent hours looking online regarding this issue, humid country etc. I’ve never encountered the sticky ikky variety here before, I’m aware of it and my concerns are how to properly store it to avoid mould growth. Some people suggest to refrigerate and others are strongly opposed to it! It’s also suggested to put in a glass mason jar with a silica gel pack, to absorb possible humidity in the jar, but then the space in the jar between the weed and the lid would have air and potentially could encourage mould! So where I’m at right now is a Mason Jar with silica gel pack inside and paper towel to seal that gap between the weed and jar clasp lid but am very open to peoples input as I had a friend overseas who unknowingly smoked mould weed which made real problems for him. Eeeesh I’ve gone round and around with this trying to determine the best way to move forward so any help will be hugely appreciated! Thanks, have an awesome day!
  3. No... that's not the case and so many people here are incredibly judgemental. For the most part people don't read the previous msgs. I mentioned I no longer have 800,000 baht to hand as a person had mentioned that requirement regarding the retirement visa yes. I'm far from a shoestring budget but have investments in place, so as to why you make such an assumption regarding myself having the outlook of not being able to live where I am and I shouldn't have to pay for anything is a ludicrous leap of imagination on your part.
  4. I've never whined nor mentioned I was retired, people have assumed so as I'm over 50! I've merely asked what visa options there are moving forward.
  5. You realised nothing! But merely assumed! I don't understand why you would choose to jump to conclusions, when I first mentioned scamming agents, something that does exist, I was referring to my own experience enquiring about the same visa with different agents and some, the price was far higher, not on a parr with others, so I think I don't need to explain myself further, but assuming I'm ignorant when I'm stating facts from my experience is simply ignorance from your side and an exercise in time wastage for me to reply to you! Your time and your tone was not warranted and I'll thank you to not waste my time further and seriously hope in time you can establish that if you have problems then you should address them rather than projected your crap onto others!!!!!!
  6. Yeah I agree, somebody else mentioned that getting the 30 day extension shouldn't pose any issues but leaving the country and then returning will be an issue so I need to decide on a visa to move forward with. I see the note on the system as a warning to myself really, which I'm grateful for! Much better than being refused entry etc!
  7. Awesome! Nice to get a positive msg with good advice! Thanks, have a great day!
  8. 'and yet using scamming agents that sell you airline tickets you don't actually have is ok'... Not sure why you're presuming things as i've not mentioned that was a course of action that I took! And yes I agree with your 2nd point, that is why I'm seeking advice from others as to how to proceed.
  9. Not all of us have the answers to our questions, that is the very nature of asking the question. My initial query has been redefined because of specifics people have informed me of. If you feel your time has been wasted I suggest you don't waste others time by simply complaining about your time wastage with negativity!
  10. I'm not 'going on about it', I was asked a question to which I responded!
  11. I did think it might have had some relation to that yes. covering all bases etc. Thanks for clarifying.
  12. With the 90-day Non-immigrant 'O' retirement visa, you have to prove a certain amount of monthly income as well no? As I have no income but living off of savings.
  13. Multi entry visa based on retirement, you've mentioned no funds in the bank, but I can't find any info regarding this, can you direct me to a link or somewhere that will give me an overview and specify requirements?
