  1. How about this? A foriener can buy a car, get a drivers license and most likely work some where in the US.  Here, we have to pay for a "permission letter" just to buy a motorbike. And cannot work? We are suppose to sit around and spend money every day? That gets old.  I have been dealing with the yearly Visa thing for 8 years, and don't forget 3 months visit to Immigration. I never knew anyone in the US who had "to check-in" so often. In fact , no one who I knew ever "checked-in".

so if your in laws asked for it, you'd walk out on your wife and any kids you might have?

This is a management problem. Should have all this figured  out before involving marriage and especially "kids". And,No,I have never and would never pay anything. A marriage is a commitment, and yes, I do help out the family. Little bits at a time, so they don't get crazy and go buy something they don't need, just to impress others.

  3. Jip99, no I am not a TROLL, maybe you are. I was 40 when 1st married to a Thai..paid nothing. Lasted 7 years. Then remarried at 50, again, no money. And good shape, and handsome. Now 58 and still married.

Like I said "Just my opinion".

  4. Ok, I got a good answer to all this....

If you are basically good shape, health, have hair , 40's to early 50's, you definately don't pay.

But if you are old, bald, bad shape, then yes, you should pay them to accept you.

    Just my opinion.

  5. I posted "Introduced to a Thai in the US (worked at Thai resturant) and married her. Said I would not pay , but would take good care of her. Lasted 7 years,,,she stole alot money.

Married again, 8 years now, no dowry, still doing good."

Forgot to say, she was 38 yr old virgin,no kids...still, no money, just "I take good care of you".

  7. As a teenager, always had a Palm tree poster in my bedroon. Kind of felt like peaceful and tranguil. At 47 started coming here, at 50 moved permanately after closing a successful professional busness. Had to get out of the stress and money was not a motivator to keep me trapped into that rat trap. Thailand had all I liked, the foods, good wife, low cost, less stress. Now at 58, food has changed alot, wife is run by her cell phone, people are in a fast "hurry up and wait" mentality. But what is the other option? Big countries are crumbling under corruption, brain washing is everywhere now, with the electronic "new world age". Find a spot and dig in for the long haul, if its better than where you came from.

  8. Only thing SMART thing about these items, is their ability to track you and TELL you what to think.  This is where "Brainless" generation comes from-they don't think, they are told what to think.

This well orchstrated take over of the minds began to promote governments propaganda. Tv, newspapers, computers, phones..then combining phones into computers.

Next great thing to come? Put the computer into your brain.

    Sorry, thats already here......

  9. Its a well orchstrated take over of the minds and they will fight you to the death to say its not. remember Pokimon Go?

These brain deads are being used against those of common sense. With the pop-up of a "News Alert" or New APP, people are told what to believe without guestioning the truth.

  10. I've heard enough...even on another website UDMap, the winers are the ones who defend their stupidity all the time..

Common sense gets kicked out the window.  Tourism is created to make money and the many involved turn out to be the victims, a lot of the time.

Watch this video and learn a different perspective..

  11. Hi, this is my 1st post here. Hello everyone!

Its funny, was just wondering why we could not connect to internet this morning. WiFi is working, Wifi adapter into my PC says its working.

We called our guy at TOT and he said it was because of the rains and floodings.

Everything worked great until bedtime last night..all well.

So I started checking files on the PC. The trouble shooter program always came back with  "an error has occured,. trouble shooting wizard cannot continue",

Also when I clicked "more details", it said "Restricted"

    So I kept checking......

Here is what I found:  The IP address for the Network Card has been denied by the DHCP

    IP Lease denied.

This stuff just gets me going, so I tried another thing: Click Control Panel

    then Location and other sencers

    Event Viewer

    Administrative Events

    Choose one, right click

    Select Event Properties.

Mine shows over 200 "Events" of denial or Microsoft shut your sever, or blocked it, and on and on.

In my own opinion, as whats happening now around the world, all governments are putting in place mechanisms to shut down all communications, in the event of a "World Event". Stay tuned for your Orwellian messages.

    Sorry, just my opinion.

I started this post over 2 hrs ago when the 1st poster posted "Has TOT been hacked.?

Well, Our landlord came to check our watertank, it was flowing over.

He said "the cable from Singapore was cut"  (as I see others have mentioned here)

OH, he is an Engineer inside TOT..

I told him Governments were testing their ability to severe communications.

He responded by saying, No, its to block outside Governments from attack the Thai Monarchy

    Anyways, hope that helps,

I am not a computer wiz, I just stumbled upon this, this. morning. I can do some things with PC's but not great stuff like many others.

    Take care
