3 month ago, I had to pay 50.000 for something in a bank here in Thailand. I was then joust going to transfer it from my own thai bank account. But was told that I had to go outside and get the 50.000 in cash, from there ATM outside, as they would only accept cash payment. (And the ATM would only pay 20.000 at the time, so I had to get 20 + 20 + 10)

Well. He might get a 5year Via now, without having to do 90 day reporting. And not have to sleep in a tent. -

Cheapest places to fly for visa run?
Jorgendk replied to kingofallasians's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yes. When I did it, (Had multiple entry NO-visa, 3 month allowed to stay) I took the bus from Mukdahan, and back, to get another 3 months. In all takes 1 hour to get the 3 months. Only stayed in Lao for 15 minuts. (But then I live very close to Mukdahan.) -
Well.. Yes 12 Volt is 12 Volt. But going a long, thin vier to the svitsh and back, the vire will have a lot of resisten, and it might only be 10 volt at your light. A Relay will make the el to the light only have to go thrue a short thik wier, and give the light all the valt it want.

You are right, I am sure. My reaction is not as good as my reaction was 10-20 years ago, but I still clame that it is better than many young drivers today. Anyway, I do not usely drive anywhere as fast as I used to do, and I think that make up fore some of the bit slower reaction. Anyway... I was only claiming that it is wrong to asume that you should newer drive a motorbike if over say 65 years of age. But I agree that the only way to drive fearly safe in Thailand, is if you drive a armerd car,

Unless they have changed it, ( and it look like they have not), You can get a multi entry Visa valid for 1 year for 5K. And as you say it vill be with no ins/no med/no seasoned money. When returning to Thailand, you get granted 90 days stay. After that you have to go out from Thailand, and come back in again, to get another 90 days stay. Youst before your 12 month Visa expiers, you do it again, and thereby, in all have 90 days X 5 on that Visa. After that you then need to go and get a new Visa, and youse that the same way. I have done that for years. No problem. Youst spend 30 minutes in Laos every 90 days, and come back.

I am hoping for Thailand – Lao border to open, but am afraid it will be some time yet because of Omicron. Have to rely on, that they keep extending the corona extension, until it does, as they have done so far. It is already extended until 23 Jan-2022 (Will give permeation of stay until end of marts)

When I got my first driving licens 5 years ago, I was told I had to get certificate of residency from immigration, but was also told to go and get the yellow house book as soon as I could, because it would make it easy next time, because then I would not need the certificate any more. When I 2 years after, went to renew, I only had to show the yellow book. (This is at Mukdahan)

Live your lives normally, but carefully, says Vachira director

I do not know if you misunderstood me, NO my health is not your responsibility. But you should try to not give the corona to anyone. (As you rightly say " have the obligation to willingly do you no harm" i where a mask, mainly to try not to give any Corona I might have, to others,
