  1. Having read all the posts one thing is clear to me, this is not a worthy Go Fund Me case. Get your credit card out and pay for your own mistakes instead of holding the tin cup out when there are far more worthy cases out there.
  2. Ok so he works in the UK and was on holiday. You clearly know more about the whole episode than me and it sounds like your saying he had insurance which expired after the incident, is that right, he was covered when the incident took place? As for holding out the tin cup now for a working guy that could easily pay this bill on a credit card, no thanks, be responsible for your own mistakes.
  3. The article says he lived in Thailand for 3 years with his wife. If he arrived in December he would have had a minimum of $50,000 medical insurance for the duration of his stay. If he cancelled his flight home and didn`t extend his insurance that`s pretty stupid with the endless possibilities that it may be required for. As they say, up to him, but it`s not Go Fund Me worthy imo.
  4. Insurance expired because of unexpected extended stay, 3 years ????? The guy can`t afford to live in Thailand is the reality, I won`t be contributing to any Go Fund Me of that kind. Get better, go back to the UK and get work.
  5. This is me being happy. If I was cross I would tell them to swim home, but they would probably sink with them rocks they have for brains????
  6. They are putting the whole Sandbox program at risk with their entitled attitudes. No doubt the rhetoric is `in my country` well wake up this isn`t your country. If everyone has this attitude of squatters the program risks being shelved. Take them back to the airport and get rid of them, they won`t be missed.
  7. Why would I be having a laugh? Weren`t the rules clear enough for people when they applied, hadn`t there been previous stories of people testing positive on arrival, haven`t countries be been advising against all non essential travel? But of course the old `it won`t happen to me` outweighed all common sense and therefore cheapening out on the insurance. And now we have the entitled attitude to deny the hotels other business and putting staff at risk.
  8. They took the risk by not getting fully insured for the all possibilities and lost now they should stop selfishly putting others at risk and go to the hospital.
