Hello Has anyone used wise transfer receipts to prove money was transferred in from overseas at immigration at Jomtien to support of an extension to stay based on retirement? Interested in experiences at Jomtien only because that is the office I have to attend. Thanks for any replies.

Thanks for the reply ubonjoe. Yes I was. Our problem is my extension has expired while we have been out of LOS so the option for my wife to apply for a non imm o visa ( to visit spouse)at the consulate isn't available. We wanted to avoid having to maintain two lots of 800k in the bank but I guess that will be the easiest and simplest option.

Hello All Is there still the option for a dependant spouse to piggy back onto a husbands/wives Extension to Stay? I know the option was available previously but I cannot find any reference on the immigration website apart from dependants of those who are on work visas.

Hello I am looking to return to LOS in March next year. I understand that I can enter visa exempt and apply for the extension but would have to prove my 800k came from overseas. I already have the 800k in the bank but probably will not be able to acquire a FET because some of the 800k was transferred in without a foreign transaction code. My question is , can I enter using a 60 day tourist visa and apply for the retirement extension seeing the 800k will already be seasoned?
