Hi.. 

I will be returning to Jomtien in June to Repatriate BKK bank monies to my UK bank.. Approx 750k baht... 

 

Please can anyone advise on best cost effective options and approx charges atm..

I renewed my annual extension of stay in November 2018 using combination method / embassy letter at Phuket immigration.

 

Having just decided to use the 65k baht per month method to secure my extension of stay due this November.

 

i deposited 70k in my bangkok bank today and plan to do the same for the next 9 months, so can show 10 months transfers totaling 700k in Nov 2019.

 

i understand immigration will show some leniency....will this suffice under said circumstances. .?

 

I intend to use these monies for everyday expenses too..is that acceptable ?

Hi All

ive had a Non - immigration O visa for 3 years which is current to Nov this year.

i am considering teaching English in a Phuket school initially for 1 year.

I have a couple of questions.  

Will I be able to obtain a work permit whilst still on current non - immigration visa ?

If not, can I revert from work permit to non - immigration visa without leaving the country ?

Any general advice on teaching English in thai schools would be much appreciated too ?
