And Cambodians holding Cambodian passports? I assume the $3,000 not needed. What about the health certificate?

Nah.. in time the Covid fiasco will be but a memory like the previous others viruses, pandemics and what'not that "shook the world" and now no one hardly remember what they were...
Wishful thinking. What business owner will invest capital and resources knowing he can be shut down on a whim and for an indeterminate time, until it is "safe"? Any volunteers? Businesses are NOT coming back.

This is true. But that doesn't make the prediction false. Sometimes it's prudent to anticipate what is coming and prepare for it.

Let's be clear. Any global mental health crisis isn't due to the pandemic. It's due to the LOCKDOWN.

No, makes no sense unless the reason is to achieve "something else"
The longer this goes on, the more people start to wake up. This was never about a virus. Anyone thinking this will be a "V" recovery will be incredibly disappointed. The danger of course is that if everything opens and the economy is in depression, Trump would lose the election. He has a much better chance to win by delaying any opening until after the election. Then he can blame the economy on the shutdown. Ignore what he says to the contrary.

A new world is emerging out of the pandemic...without firing a shot...governments are dispensing with personal freedoms at an unprecedented rate.
A few years from now people will have forgotten how they once roamed the world, their country without checkpoints and engaged in unrestricted commerce.
Agreed and my prediction is the USSA will be unrecognizable five years from now. Hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

Every business needs to consider that the future means their business can be shut down on a whim and for undetermined amount of time. Scary. Any volunteers?

Sometimes the best option will be to take the train the WRONG way to the end of the line. Then get back on the empty train and take it back to your destination.

The cure for low prices is low prices. I'm not worried about this year, as this year's harvest was planted last year. What I worry about is NEXT year. Farmers not selling their crops this year will not plant for next year. Trouble will arrive next year.

No I don't think they are ready for the new normal. The shock waves haven't even begun yet.

Yes. Who benefits from the pandemic? Is it a planned stock market reset? Inquiring minds want to know.
I could tell you, but my post would just be deleted as off topic. I don't think it has anything to do with the stock market. Sorry, everyone needs to figure it out by themselves. We are only in the beginning stages of this. Should be quite the show.

There is no logic to this whole WuFlu debacle !
I have found many times in the past that when things are not making any sense, they really ARE making perfect sense, but you just haven't figured out the hidden agenda yet. This is true of corona as well.

OK well I hope any new vaccine developed for corona will be properly tested and safe (double blind placebo controlled and peer reviewed).

Sorry but that is ridiculous. We are talking about people who's lives, perhaps businesses they worked 30 years to build, are being crushed, their wife and kids are hungry, no food on the table, and no plan on how to get some. Millions of people are in desperate circumstances, this goes WAY beyond personal interest.

what percent of obesity cases are the result of lifestyle choices?

The mantra "exercise more, eat less" is profoundly ineffective for most people. Yes it might work a little bit while you are doing it, but generally it's too difficult and cannot be maintained for long periods. The sorry subject generally gains all the weight back and even more. Therefore, the final result is FAIL for most people. The data supports this. Why do you think so much money is made selling diet and exercise? Because it doesn't work for most people.
For all the people who maintain this "exercise more, eat less" nonsense, please tell me the cause of all these obese babies. It certainly can't be lack of exercise, as they are too young to walk. It can't be what they are eating, as they were born this way. What is the cause? Answer this question and you will see that it is NOT diet and exercise that will fix this. Have a little empathy. These children did not choose to be this way. SOMETHING IS WRONG with their bodies. What is it?
