One dares not imagine the shame back home in the Brit hood, when all the lads will get to know what their (former) buddy was upto in Land of Sins !! ...behind their back and mainly his back !!

In many a thai restaurant that has it's washing area in the open air, one can see how they just dip the dirty dishes in a large cauldrons of water. If one looks closely in the kitchen, you may never again eat out.

I left BB this year, .Bad service at some branches (like all banks) but the annual fees changes. Not to mention that some branches just refuse to handle simple admiinstrative tasks to manage the account and rudely say to get it done in the branch where you opened the account. But they also hint that if you open the account in their branch, life will be made far more easy. The worst are the small branches of Bangkok Branch around NANA bts.

To many KFC or Burger King discounts on Line maybe ? Because soom, the seats in the BTS would need to get enlargened, even in the teens wagons.

No price display ? , no buy me.
A bit like Lazada, You get a price on the website and when you check out, in the basket it has increased by some diving miracle.
So I just delete the basket and don't purchse. I call the shop directly or go over and show the photo of the lower price on the website. Often they prefer to handle the sale directly then through Lazada. For the "never-happened-to-me"...this does not happen to every item sold, but often.

How can one claim to hold the holy truth on what is worthy or not to be discussed if in a civil and polite manner ?
One chap thinking he is the smartest in the hood, may appear as a rude and arrogant fool to another and the other way round.
Same for the topics. Some may find him or her boring or foolish but for others they could be divine lifesavers,
Same for differences on politics. Some may applause Trump and others Biden. In a democracy, that is fully their right - no rocket science.
Are they are also going to get posts deleted, banned or warned just out of a political difference ? Of course not as ASEAN is open minded...hopefully :-)
How can one consider baning people plainly on the topics they post or their ideas (provided within the law of course) ?
I far more enjoy reading Bob Smith then somebody else thinking he is giving lecture in geopolitics in a Harvard Amphitheater ? Some boring comments in my view that often could be rubbish depsite the 89'448 posts but to others it could be the post of the day.
Unless one wants this place to be empty, numbers to drop and loose market value, filled just with the old timers arguing on the number of posts they have, that give them a sense of "this or that" and ranting against any newcommer or anybody with interesting stuff to post.....well IMHO, no way for me and probably for many others.
I once got suspended years ago, just because "God" on duty-forum patrol, considered that I had to many posts....no other reason.
I would only delete posts with arrogant, rude or uncouth comments, from some thinking they run the show, or either belive themselves to be the grammar police or feel like columist critics towards other people's posts/topics.
Same for the racist extremists obviously who have no place in a public forum.
With full respect to moderating any forum, deleting a post plainly on the "off topic" excuse, or the "nonsense comment excuse" has no sense and liveability in a forum and posters will just stop comming.
Thank you.

Not getting those using Google log in option - and no log on issues that way. But message may be valid as your IP address here in Thailand will often change and when you get a bad one (used for spam) you can actually be blocked by some sites.
Thanks, did not know that IP was floating in Thailand and changing. Always thought it remained the same,. Ok I learnt something new today...

I got the message but when I disconnected my vpn it was fine. Not sure if this helps as I am not too computer savvy.
Thanks man. But I don't use VPN (yet!). I think it's just the ad blockers and those f..ers want customers to appel vulnerable in the system to get hold of our data. But thanks anyway.

im an alcoholic.
but i dont like associating with expat loser alcoholics.
they always have a story. and are always looking for a handout.
they are as bad as the locals in that regard.
Dont' worry Bob, Churchill was also one, yet I think he sort of made it out in life I think !!.
Not to mention other renowned authors, heads of state through history with diverse perversions or addictions.
So no harm in being an alcoholic, as long as it does not harm/hurt others then oneself perhaps.
You are fully right on the drunks or even sober jerks you refer to. "Quality" people who are just looking to rant, argue, contradict or be rude.
I plainly put them on "ignore" on social media or in real life in society just politely smile, say "oh that's interesting" and turn my back to them and interact with somebody else away from the toxics. Thank god everybody is not like that.
Have a nice evening pal.

99 per cent of people are "toxic".
You need to live in a cave to avoid them all.
Wow that's harsh. Kindly permit me to think that all people are not bad to that extent. Or elese maybe I got lucky ever since I started to brush away the toxic ones ?
It's like a rare stone, you need to look a bit to hit on one.
Have a nice evening and thank you for your comment.

Triggered rather by forms of environmental fascism, anarchy and dogmatism.
Science is great and usually true. It's how it's used that "triggers" !!
Have a nice evening Mr AWWWW.. 😂

Sorry to dig this out, but same here, getting that annoying message of unusual trafic from your netork with Lazada.
Many commented here that as it's chinese owned, those crooks want customers to remove all safety and ad blocker features.
No need to say somebody else got my business and not Lazada as i don't like being pressured and blackmailed of the sort.
I strongly believe if you remove your ad blockers, they will obviously start tracking your details for commercial and the usual BS.
Maybe having just a dedicated browser and old thrashy computer just for Lazada may be the solution, with only COD purchase of course and absolutely no credit card details.

Another "normal" day, for low life loosers taking out their failures and frustrations on others.

A sensible approach could consider to impose government tax on the systems that replace humains with ai robotics. If not the whole pension system can collapse in many countries.

I would rather try to bait on GoFundMe ... it could avoid some embarassment here perhaps ?

Consider a hostage situation in a large bank (not the west bank!....a regular cash commercial bank!!..ok sorry bad pun)
Do the cops charge in, claim it's the criminals who started it first and blindly shoot at anything that moves ? or do they bring in the top negotiator team for a civilised outcome ?

Rich could sometimes be a sense of carelessness and lightness on what's spent today and no concern on what could happen tomorrow.
For some it could be how to get rich and for others, how to remain rich.
Rich could also mean are you rich and happy and then it's great and the best thing that could happen.
But if rich (by our standards) and unhappy, then it's a shame as one is not really rich, no matter the size of the wallet !!

I've being bying and using it in cooking for ages and the packages all say they are from India.
Some back wound pains, highly relieved and many other positive effects. No issues till now.
It is also widely used in the west by local chefs who also get it from India and would be surprising if the local sanitary authorities let any issue go below the radar.

Why would being out of sync prevent one from "getting down to business", assuming that means what I think it does?
Most things you could want are available 24/7.
Sorry, my "business" is usually 10 to 6 pm😂..but thanks however for the suggestion.

The laws are often quite clear. Their interpretation by the authorities (police, courts, lawyers etc) is what difers and can create issues.

I spent quite a few years flying long-haul every couple of weeks. E.g. UK-China, arriving at a hotel midnight and having to be up for work next morning. I found melatonin helped me adjust.
Excellent suggestion as they do have Melatonin homeopathic 5CH doses that put you to bed at different hours. . Great idea, never thought of it. Thank you.

Problems with fluorescent lighting
in The Electrical Forum
Posted
I had problems in the ceiling recessed lights with dimmer, that started to flicker suddenly when light was left on low light.
Same story with all the electric cowboys who could never really explain.
Plainly changed the brand of the bulbs and till now, no more issues.
If the lights have dimmer switch fixed on the main laines, they may/can have issues as the switches apparently in Thailand may not be able to handle it no matter what.
But this is plainly a guess as once again, I am absolutely no specialist in the matter. Just that in my case it was solved (for the moment), in changing the brand of the led bulbs.
