Proper legal marriage in Thailand is recognised by the UK. There is no requirement as I understand it to register it with the UK government. I have registered my legal Thai marriage with my company pension provider because my wife is entitled to 50% of it per month when I die. This is also included in my Thai will along with my UK bank accounts.

Anyone who watches those Muppets on Fox other than to get a good laugh needs to be in a sanitourium.

Lunacy, they are already causing major problems along with their corrupt commie brothers from Peking. But of course the Thai only looks at tourist numbers not what they spend and if they are spending on condos it's with illegal gains. I remember a report from years ago in Pattaya when they did a inspection of these dispensers and almost all fell below the minimum standards for bacteria because they were never maintained. Despite the fact you paid to refill.

I had my documents translated and certified in one of the ground floor offices in the Trendy Building, VFS visa place. Done in 2 hours.
