  1. Off topic however bit of a heads up. I also renewed pp not long ago and went to CW to transfer Stamps and visa info. Immigration sprung on me a requirement to provide photocopies of bank book and make a transaction. (Funds in bank method) This previously was never required. Not happy. OP, what occurred for you is normal.
  2. This all changed in June 2020. You are not a tourist. You have an ongoing permission of stay. Granted it must be extended each year. You do not need to file a new TM30 for out of province and international trips. Previously it was required.
  3. When you returned last week I presume you entered on a reentry permit. A TM30 is not required. Your condo girl is wrong
  4. You do not need to make a TM30. However don't be surprised if Jomtien make you do one.
  5. Just leave. Nothing will happen at airport. Do next tm47 prior to 90 days after you return and hope they miss it. Worse case 2k fine.
  6. Correct. Already covered in this thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1295110-best-way-to-send-money-out-of-thailand/
  7. The airline at departure may request an onward flight if planning to enter Thailand visa exempt. Rarely would it be asked by Thai immigration on arrival. The onward flight should be within 30 days. You received suggestions from entirely using visa exempt entries to combination of visa exempt + tourist visas. Important consideration is where you would be based.
  8. Good time to close a thread that has lot of misinformation.
  9. Money only and no property. If not wanting to leave funds to anyone in UK best option is to transfer funds to Thailand. Surely not referring to serious money as it's in a bank.
  10. Agree. Also she mentioned only 20 day Samui then no firm plans other that more stays on islands. Very frustrating OP. Normally I would not care less however her situation it not as unusual as one would think. Very unhelpful op.
  11. This is such a nonsense thread. First up you can remit money back to "home country" 400k is not serious money. Not too long ago I had a hip replacement in Bangkok. By Coincidence 400k. BTW: The op was not about wife "taking care of things" He wanted to send 400k baht back to UK.
  12. Stop. If you obtained a non O single entry visa from Oz you would be stamped in 90 days. It's not an "old visa" You didn't even reply to which airport you exit from. For example BKK different process to DMK. Hells Bells
  13. You can return whenever you want. Depending on how long you wish to visit determines your best option. You have zero issues.
  14. Yes. For both offices (my understanding) is apply am and pick up next business day pm. Someone will correct if that's not correct
  15. Yeah for sure . I'm sure Thailand is rampant with Thai wives supporting fully their farang partners, including the funds in bank requirements for extensions 400k as a once off the OP wishes to return to UK is a red herring.
  16. BTW: Vientiane requires an appointment. Currently don't think they offer multi. Believe @transam dealt with Savannahket. He can advise.
  17. 3 weeks ago I transferred 80kaud+ from Oz using WISE. I ticked "long term living expenses " Arrived in my Thai account in less that 2 hours.
