Thailand’s Immigration Police can now halt any passenger boarding a plane for Thailand if the person is deemed a threat to the security and well being of the country.
So Thai Immigration Police are now stationed at every country that has a direct flight into Thailand? ????

I wonder if you can get this paper when vaccinated already in your home country.
You don't need this. Just show them your CDC (or equivalent) card.

Guam’s Air V&V program now has a major competitor —- and it’s from our own backyard.
GVB President Carl Gutierrez said that Palau is now emerging as a competitor to Guam in vaccine tourism.
“Palau is now giving vaccinations and offering vaccine tourism. So we’re trying to stave that off so we don’t get left behind,” Gutierrez said during the GVB board meeting Thursday afternoon.

J&J shot effective against Delta variant in large South Africa study
Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine is 71 percent effective at preventing hospitalizations and 96 percent effective at preventing death from the Delta variant, according to preliminary data from a massive South African study.
The study, called the Sisonke, involved over 477,000 health care workers who received the single-shot COVID-19 vaccine between February and May of this year. Workers were exposed to both the Beta and Delta variants of COVID-19 as they spread throughout the country.

Yes, and there are indications protection lasts longer than the mRNA vaccines.

Richard, I am in exactly the same circumstances, lost my flight on 23rd March last year. Its unlikely Thailand will open in October as Prayut said. So can't get back to the condo in Pattaya or my wifes home in Isaan.

It's the not knowing anything definite that's doing everyone's heads in !
You can enter Thailand right now under the Phuket Sandbox or ASQ.

I'm in Guam right now. Came in on July 5 from BKK through Narita via ANA booked through a code share with United Airlines, the big player in Micronesia. I booked business class, which was a real waste for the Narita-Guam portion since they're using a 737 now. ANA Business class from BKK to Narita was great, however.
Was able to get to BKK from CNX on July 4 on Bangkok Air. That's a thing of the past, now, isn't it? Don't know how I'm going to return to CNX when I get back to BKK and serve out my quarantine, however.
So how did you return to CNX from BKK?

"Eighteen months, the restrictions have eased up, but she does not have access to an FDA approved vaccine."
There are no FDA approved COVID-19 vaccines.

Would have been nice if you told us what city this hospital is in, mainly because it doesn’t have anything to do with ninety percent of us. But I did a search and figured it out.
His post is in the Chiang Mai forum which is a pretty good hint.

The Biden administration has made is clear that the only way a US citizen residing overseas can be assured of getting a vaccine is to fly back to the US or one of its territories.

Covid is approching my moo ban now, here nobody has got vaccine , except me, Janssen with French embassy
don't know how it is compared to Moderna or Pfizer, but I heard good things , I was vaccinated 20 days ago, no effects, fever, headache etc ( I am 71 years old )
sorry to hear people coming back to their country to get vaccine
I have read that two jabs of Astra zeneca give a good protection, even with Delta variant
Janssen is as good as the other two.

There used to be flights directly from CNX to Korea, then to JFK. Looks like all flights go through BKK now. And I heard they are stopping domestic flights to red zones? Good question actually.
There have been no international flights out of CNX for over a year. Yes, all domestic in and out of BKK are cancelled. Maybe hire a driver to get to BKK. Bus and trains are cancelled too, I think.

Gotta say, don't have high hopes for the U.S. Embassy doing much to ensure the set-aside portion ends up being used as promised.... And even less confidence in the Thai government following thru on its promise to actually use the set-aside as required -- especially if the administration is left in their hands...
What promise?

Since the US did not stipulate Americans being first, it is up to Thailand. The Chinese will probably be first.

if "must" that means it was condition for this donation.
I would think only the USA citizens at first, when all done, the rest for the USA allies (brits).
That would be all, not enough for the rest.
Foreign teachers will get their jab in late summer, very few elderly and sick getting now and within near future, but about half of expats will be at mercy of the second part of the vax program, middle/end of autumn
You would think wrong. If US citizens were to be at the first of the list, that would have been stipulated by the US when they gave it.

WOW!
That's 300,000 doses, so enough for ~ 140,000 people.
One assume U.S. citizens will be at the front of the line.
China donated vaccines with the stipulation that their citizens here got vaccinated.
Natives will get restless. Seeing a protest on Wireless Road this week.
One assumes wrong.
