  1. Hi, Traveling to S Korea next month and need a PCR certificate taken within 48hrs of my flight. I see different price ranges but just wondering if anyone found a good cheap testing spot that's preferably open on Sundays on Samui? Thanks in advance
  2. Thanks Ryan, I'll keep that in mind for the future but for now looking for travel insurance just incase... Most chances would probably be a motor bike accident but just had a friend get bit by a spider and has been going to the hospital every few days for a month or so to get stitches and treatments.
  3. I currently have a million baht plan and pay about 3,000 baht per month. I bought the 90 day plan for my Thai Pass but it will soon expire. I plan on being here another 30 days so I figured I'd better be safe than sorry. I've done some searching on the internet but haven't had much luck... still waiting for the quotes be returned from the companies that I reached out to. I am 52 years old with no health issues incase it makes a difference and definitely would like to have coverage incase I get into a motor bike accident. Thanks
  4. Just signed up with Lazada last week and had the same problem with my US Chase card. I called and emailed them and just went ahead and uploaded the info they requested, Passport, pic of me with credit card and a statement...I received a confirmation email and now it seems to work fine. I'll do a few more purchases this week and make sure everything's ok. I tried this with Shopee but they said that they're not excepting any international cards as of now... except for a select few.
  5. I wouldn't be surprised. I had to do that once when I forgot to bring my bank passbook from the US. They love to do an excessive amount of paperwork here.
  6. Thanks for the response... I thought the chanoot would be good enough too but at least the lady working that day said I need the blue book. From what I understand, the blue book should be blank since I bought the condo from a foreigner. I saw how people convert their blue book to yellow which looks like a huge pain in the ass. Not sure if not having a blue book would also cause a problem if I want to install my own internet so I figured I'd look into replacing it. I'm not a resident and won't be for a few years but would like to have the utilities in my name incase it helps in the future when I do become a resident.
  7. Hi, did some searching on the internet but couldn't find anything specific to my situation. I purchased a condo in Replay 2 yrs ago but didn't receive the blue book, the owner was in England but I forgot what the excuse was. I was told by the realtor and the lawyer who did the transfer that it wasn't important for the sale. My manager has been paying the electric bill but I found out it is still in the old owners name at the electric company. Now that I'm finally back in Samui, I went to change the name on the account but the lady at the power company said I need the blue book. She didn't speak much English so not sure if I missed anything. My condo manager sent a email to the old owner but haven't heard back yet. Does anyone know if it's possible to replace a lost blue book or if there's something else I should do? Thanks in advance.
  8. I had a 2am flight at BKK in 2019 that made me over stay by a day. I tried to get through immigration before midnight but couldn't get through before 12:30. They pulled me to the side to get a different stamp but it didn't say overstay. They didn't fine me nor did they say anything.
