  1. Bluster for the media to publish to create the illusion something might change. Because it won't. Unfortunately. "Tourist" dollars are king in this Kingdom.
  2. Not unexpected. Now it only remains to be seen if their parents money will get them out of the country without any jail time, or not. Honestly, jail would be a good message for these 2 clowns.
  3. declare, don't declare, it's irrelevant... because whatever happens, nothing would change as there is no political will to do what needs to be done. look at the up-side, when TAT misses it's 40 million goal they will have an easy built-in excuse.
  4. And the instant thumping when you fail to comply to any of the simplest commands, resist or otherwise talkback #westernstyle
  5. https://aseannow.com/topic/1322598-two-new-zealand-men-arrested-in-phuket-for-alleged-brutal-assault-on-traffic-cop/?do=findComment&comment=18774667
  6. There is also evidence on the cops phone of the NZs trying to bribe their way out of the final stop, and eye witnesses at the noodle shop where the final stop occured. Hamish and Oscar did a stupid thing and will face consequences. That is a near certainty. As it should be. Should have just obligated the original traffic stop. Everyone knows those stop points are designed to sweep in as many as possible. But they also let go as many as they fine.
  7. And the fact the NZs evaded an order by police to stop. It all starts with one bad decision. And that was what triggered everything. Even if the NZ bozos through the call to stop was unjustified, and even if the cop drew his weapon (on 2 fleeing and evading perpetrators), the NZs are on thin ice.
  8. Yeah, so scared they didn't run off, just decided to hang out with the cop after the wrestling match to chat about it. 😂
  9. Hard to argue with video evidence. The second guessing about a "possible" unjustified traffic stop, subsequent shakedown, or fears of persecution will never justify or negate what's in the video. It was a TRAFFIC stop. There are now only excuses, made by 2 NZ guys with more brawn than brains. You have to be boarder line psychotic to escalate, even an unjustified traffic stop, in broad daylight, in front of witnesses, by even the worse of cops, asking for money, to a wrestling match over a live firearm. Until more people in Pattaya, Phuket and Koh Samui become enraged by the level of lawlessness by foreigners, and stop blaming the police, nothing improves. And that's the saddest part of all.
  10. Yeah. I'm sure. The NZs will likely claim they thought it was a police escort to the beach. A public service for the self entitled. 😂
  11. So in conclusion, anytime a police office draws down on someone that said someone is then entitled to wrestle the firearm away from law enforcement to "deescalate" the situation? GTFOH 😂
