Why did he take 3 back but only choose 1? Size contest?
Maybe he didn’t recognize the larger hands and thought he was in for a ride of a lifetime.. but instead maybe he realized he was instead going to be ridden! 🤠

If it’s for proof of funds there are specific criteria stated in the government issued manuals.
I sent in an application last year and from memory the statement should have name of account holder and logo of financial institution. A downloaded statement can be used but it’s meant to be then stamped as genuine in branch.
However I sent in about 10 months of bank issued statements and two downloaded pages for missing months (I had to show 12 months statements) without stamping those and no questions were asked.
if I were you I would read the additional instructions in detail. you can also use a bank book etc as alternative. Read the chapters about bank statement evidence requirements, here’s the link:
Bottom line is you might get away with a download but do you want to risk it for sake of losing a bit of interest.
Incidentally if my bank didn’t issue a statement I wouldn’t use them.

Actually, I always found it funny that some farang claim that Thai are stupid, yet even uneducated farm girls seem to learn enough English to take care of their farang husbands who can speak no Thai...
My wife if from a farming background life, she didn’t goto uni, she speaks 4 languages and reads three. I also get by in Thai.
Incidentally we both are from poor backgrounds, we built a business together and we’re now both quite wealthy compared to some.
So much for the stereotypical narrow minded views of some westerners.

Since you are a moderator... My suggestion would be to remove them all, with one exception the +1 green emoticon. Which is useful as nothing needs to be said when on one is in full agreement. Disagreement should always be a bit more elaborate.
Part of the attraction of this forum is the variety of possible emoji responses. I suggest keeping the emoji’s!

But agree you are going to have to take the docs to the Embassy yourself. because they are probably going to want a stat declaration
cheers for the recommendation I sent them a message. -

I'm looking for an agent to discuss help to legalize my documents as follows:
1. Authenticate my Thai marriage certificate at the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangkok with the official wet seal.
2. Once it is authenticated and includes a wet seal, I am required to legalize this document in the Polish Consulate in Bangkok
Could anyone recommend an agent to help complete either one or both of these tasks please.
I'm currently living out of Thailand and I would need to make a special journey just to get these documents if I cannot find an agent to assist.
Any recommendations appreciated.

Has the embassey been hacked by any chance, otherwise how did the fraudsters obtain telephone numbers?

Ambassador Han Zhiqiang responded positively, assuring that Thailand remains a popular destination for Chinese tourists and expressing confidence that this incident would not affect their trust
..Oh that’s ok then.. Mai pen rai.

How bizarre, doesn’t look real.
Why would the gunman allow someone to film everything and as above why are more volunteers wondering up close to him to be fleeced.
Something missing to the story.

Try some physical exercise daily, walking or swimming or some weights maybe.
i too have had periods of ‘down’ moments which tend to occur more at night rather than the day time.
finding a hobby, musical instrument, sport, business, cooking, craft, learn a new skill from YouTube or something to do of interest might be difficult but keep trying things hopefully you’ll find something’s that you can put your mind to.
hope this helps somewhat?

Rest in peace Joe, thank you for all the help you gave to me and others, it was more than simply 'visa advise' it was reassurance that there was someone (you) who had been down that road already and that you had our backs.
Cheers Ubon Joe - you will be missed.

40 years is a long time to make up your mind. It took me just 2 minutes to decide in favour of capital punishment.
Nice story, but please don't impose your precious beliefs on others. This woman committed a series of most evil and selfish acts, and her victims' friends and relatives are in great distress.
I’m not imposing anything on anyone.
Your comments display your naivety..
..and yes as you say life is precious.

It doesn’t make it right but we all have our own beliefs.
The only time I might believe that extinguishing a human life is understandable is on a humanitarian basis/terminal illness situation.
It’s taken me about 40 years to come to this difficult conclusion but that is what I believe in.

Can my Thai girlfriend fly back to Thailand with a passport that expires in 5 months?
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

It should be ok but check with the airline to be sure.
it’s usually flying to some countries you’re not a citizen off that requires 6 months validity.
