Hi, I caught an UTI and recieved antibiotics for it, all settled. They also have me this bag of 5 pills for 3 days for "pain". Any idea what it might be? She scooped them up from a big jar, but the name escaped me. Anti inflammatory?

I know, but according to the official statements the "new law" effective date is January 2024 i.e. all income earned prior that, but transfered in 2025/2026/2027 etc, is exempt from tax. I had substantial income in 2023 that I plan transfer in pockets the coming years.

I'm able to meet these requirements i.e. I had a different set of income streams in 2023 which I want to transfer somewhere mid 2025 i.e. following year (or years) post earning. However, all these income streams gets pooled into my account back home. If Thai RD want's me to proof that what was sent, I earned years prior - do we know in what type of form and structure they want to see it? For example, if I'm here (Thailand) and they would require stamped bank docs (or similar) - it would be difficult for me to produce on the spot. Thanks

According to this (and other sources) https://www.car250.com/2024-th-toyota-prius-3.html it looks like the Toyota Prius (5th Gen) not only is coming back to Thailand, but will start to be locally produced as well. I'm really interested in this model and if it's priced similarly to a Honda Civic (Hybrid) - I'll try to buy one later this year.

Hi, Is there any website/resource you're familiar with where I can find which models are produced in Thailand? For example, almost the entire Honda range have final assembly here - but not the Civic Type R as it's manufactured only in Japan.

Anyone knows what time the "reservation tent" closes to book the actual appointment for renewal? Would you think I can come 1-2pm and make the first reservation? I understand that the DLT close 3.30pm, and that most renewals(or new Dals) are done either morning or afternoon hours. No issues with that.

Friends, we went with the Toyota Yaris. It met the low- to mid spec requirements we had; good enough for short city-driving; and lastly we figured it was a brand that was easy to sell (or repair). Thanks for the input!

The reason I would like to use a CC is because I work in the finance industry and one of my perks is a Mastercard without FX markup i.e. I get the exact rate listed here (better then wise): https://www.mastercard.us/en-us/personal/get-support/convert-currency.html No need to lecture mate, I know some stores adds a charge fee even though it's explicitly against the T&C of both Mastercard and Visa. Actually, this was the very point of this thread to ask if official Honda dealers 1) accept MA/Visa 2) adds "a charge"

This is actually very helpful and encouraging. Considering all the warnings I've seen about BPH, I'd figured a UTI/STI exam would be a +10-20k stunt and simply not worth it. Did you come in on "a emergency" or was it a booked appointment?

On this subject, I believe I've caught an UTI or STI because I have an almost constant urge to pee (and some lower abdominal pain). I wouldn't rule out Bangkok Pattaya Hospital if its anything severe, but if all I need is some antibiotics (or similar) - I'd be delighted if I could make the aforementioned tests at a smaller clinic or more affordable hospital. What places would you guys recommend? Thanks

I'm up for renewal in March. Do I remember this order of things correctly: 1st. visit your local DLT to get an appointment (no need for documents at this time) 2nd. visit bring Medical Cert, Residence Cert, Passport copies (all pages) and do a couple of tests. Is this still valid? I don't want to go all the way over there and have missed something for the first step, so I'm happy for any help here.
