"We are not amused".
Speak for yourself, I think the whole thread is rather amusing
Oh dear......a person that doesn't know what quotation marks mean, or, if they did, whom the quote comes from (allegedly).
I'll give you a clue. A queen (not Jingthing).
Oh dear, another presumptive fool and poster that doesn't understand the written play on words

Also perhaps of some interest I have a Minister's ordination from a mail order church in Hawaii but I lost the document.
You are in the company of the Reverend Ian Paisley (Deceased)

What a sad comment on ones lifestyle when one is reduced to begging and pleading for votes in a forum, ye gods one wonders what would happen if the poor soul was to be disqualified from the contest?
Man flies (jumps) from 10th floor of condo due to broken heart perhaps?
It isn't even if the matter is a serious earth shaking matter It's all in a fantasy cyber world of self perceived popularity.
Now perchance Jingthing wins is this forum going to large enough to accommodate him and his ego I ask?
My Sovereign Lady, Queen Elizabeth 2nd has Queens honour list, is theire a''queens honour list for Pattaya hence the ongoing campaign to take the crown?
Thats Victoria.............
Ah Ha, That's the reason everyone is voting for the wrong bloke

There was almost single handed combat in the Cinema at one stage, an Englishman thought he was Araragorn, son of Arathorn, I gently prompted him he wasn't and that the complaints area was that way, Off you go son.
He wasn't happy.................
Picking on five year olds again?
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.— ABRAHAM LINCOLN.
You should know better of me .........

Well it is off to the Hobbit with two precocious 7 year olds, it will need more than a Mithril Dwarf Coat to keep me safe!
And remember, whatever mattress you buy, the bed you make is the one you have to lie in.

Apparently, it is the best of the three.
Epic battle scenes.

Give my regards to Gandalf - 2nd of the Istari. Remind him that I made the better choice with Thailand. Never understood his penchant for gold loving little men with beards, and hairy feet, when there were so many beautiful ladies in Thailand. Then again he always did have more in common with Jingthing in that department. Still it takes many colours to make a rainbow, and the world would be a duller place if we all had the same preferences. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.
Cheers
Fletch
Well Fletch it is quite a film, Radagast comes flying in on the Wings of the Eagles and me and another fellah had to have words, I am now convinced I can get into a fight with an empty box, but this guy really acted liked a juvenile Merriadoc on his second half.

Diana Ross- I'm Still Waiting
Apart from making something that Smokie thought I was capable of and another suggestion to defrost the bird, I have had little constructive help.
I am off to watch The Hobbit tomorrow with the Boy, but still eager to cook the bird.
Prick it all over with a fork, for all the fat to come out. The duck fat is good for roasting tatties. If in doubt just go to BBC.com and look up the Saturday Kitchen live recipes, one of the chefs must have roasted a duck at some point!!
Oops, Smokie beat me to it, In fact Brian Turner roasted a fine looking duck this morning, with lots of veggies.
And I thought you would give me something Hot & Spicy to cook
Here's what you're wantin'.

Make your ped as phet as you like.
Thanks Lanna, I'll have a look tomorrow

Google bbc food easy duck recipes.

Thank you Smokes, but it was actually a Blue Peter Badge for the contestants, to get my block votes, unfortunately, although the murmur of a promise, a no show ensued.

You've got to go with crispy duck and pancakes.
He'll learn all about the dangers of deep frying....get to play with sharp knives on the cucumber and spring onion and throw flour around the kitchen making the pancakes.
Dipping fingers in the sauce is a guilty pleasure which will remain with him forever.
You know that just ain't gunner happen

At this stage:
Costas would normally get my vote, he hasn't got involved in the politiking and can be funny and his self promotional thread was irony wrapped in sarcasm, some people just didn't see it.
After the Ice Lady didn't make the cut, David was my front runner, he did need to smarten up his campaign and realise he didn't need to get involved in the sniping, but he did........
JT, would never normally be my vote, but I actually think he wants it more than any body else, and is currently standing in 'pole' for my vote.
However, Nancy who I do not know, clearly has support, she had a little blip that I didn't agree with, but has generally been pretty good. If she gets me out of jail with the Duck, she gets my vote.

At the risk of sounding like I'm going off on my Mother Theresa riff again,
My little cousin worked with Mother Theresa.

Ok Competitors a question for all four.
As you know I am looking after the boy for the first time single handed, and I burnt the boiled potatoes the other day, almost a capital offence in Ireland, my defence, I was teaching him Battleships, I was the Potemkin, he was the the Prince of Wales 1941.
I have a Duck for New Years Day-Frozen.
What on Earth do I do with it?
Best answer gets my block vote of 100 votes, if this sounds a little panicky it is, he has already resorted to making his own toast, and has lost 3 kilos in under 4 days, speaking to the better half on skype earlier today, she is not a happy chappie, already sharpening knives and preparing to feed ducks of her own.

I quite enjoyed my 10 minutes of fame. Took away a bit of the boredom of spending Xmas day on my own.

Anyone else that actually has a QUESTION?
Be clear these questions (if you have any) should be directed at ALL four of the TOP FOUR.
So don't be specific to one candidate ... ask GENERAL questions please.
Of course if the others don't play, I won't either ... so this is an experiment ... but first things first ... some QUESTIONS anyone?
Hi JT
I guess you now know I am trending toward your good self, do not get any high hopes because my Good Lady is in the LoS, but I want an honest vote, without the, IMHO, stupid knock downs.
I will ask some questions, but possibly in the morning, I am getting a little tired, it has been a hard day, but it will be an across board function.
The idea is that all four participate ... and I have no control at all over that. Not interested in being the only one to answer questions. Let's see if anyone bites on the "FOUR REVEALS" concept as well.
Ok JT I will try and put some controls in, but forget about controlling others, win for yourself.
Alice, Alice who on earth is Alice.

I agree Smokes could run one and JT the other, oh what what an amusing time we could all have, plus make it a 12 month vote, so both can go on all year round.
For those that don't understand my humour, the Ice Queen is only joking.
