The "challenges" from David48 might carry a tad more weight if he wasn't stuck in LAST PLACE.
To be fair JT, it doesn't matter where his place is, as long as he is making fair representation, everybody has a place, to be in the last four is admirable.

Anyone else that actually has a QUESTION?
Be clear these questions (if you have any) should be directed at ALL four of the TOP FOUR.
So don't be specific to one candidate ... ask GENERAL questions please.
Of course if the others don't play, I won't either ... so this is an experiment ... but first things first ... some QUESTIONS anyone?

I guess you now know I am trending toward your good self, do not get any high hopes because my Good Lady is in the LoS, but I want an honest vote, without the, IMHO, stupid knock downs.
I will ask some questions, but possibly in the morning, I am getting a little tired, it has been a hard day, but it will be an across board function.

I will now propose a possibly FUN exercise/challenge for each of the FINAL TOP FOUR contenders.
Now this is something I like, I would have preferred posts or threads, but nonetheless something I was looking for.
That has put top for my vote JT for now, I have the rest of the thread to go through yet.

For those of us still on the fence, although my splinters are getting less with every passing fence post, why don't you link to some of your favourite posts/threads, just to take your mind off the situation.
Just a reminder there has been 3 relatively quick warnings, which may suggest that this is fast approaching a 'critical mass', and JT it may help that Nancy is coming up fast on the rails and you are going to lose a dead cert if you don't take a deep breath.

It is clear to me that throughout all of this "banter" only one candidate has remained civil. His name? Well let's just say he has a couple of boys!
I don't agree that playing snarky games of play acting innocent is really being civil.
Also, the way he aggressively did the over the top Merry Christmas thing to me personally knowing that isn't my scene is extremely and INTENTIONALLY obnoxious.
The word baiting comes to mind.
NOTHING at all wrong with saying Merry Christmas. I say it to people who are celebrating it.
But what he did, DIRECTED to me personally multiple times, was something entirely different.
It's your right to support that candidate but my experience of his posting behavior would characterize him as the OPPOSITE of civil.
Not to mention the intentional misleading edits of my posts.
More like ruthless.
That's not getting into his years of posting history because that's off limits, but only on THIS thread.

Bunnahabhain 30 year old rolls in around £100 in duty free... a bottle of that used to last me a year.

My personal opinion is people are seeing things here that are really not in the DNA of the post, but I also understand feelings are running high and have cumulated over a period of time.

I have not apologized for my bogan comments, there was nothing to apologize for, it was said in jest and I don't believe they were deleted either. So don't try to create a fake narrative that these are equivalent situations. In your mind only. I saw the comments, as for the Brit comment, I thought it was fairly innocent and certainly didn't rope all Brits into one category, in my opinion has been taken out of context,
the one in regard to David, I commented on at the time, she was misguided and who hasn't been after a few bevy's. (allegedly)
She has a different view point to me, but hey that is just about 98% of the forum.
The Brits aren't kicking up a storm and David has asked magnanimously, 3 times now for it to be dropped.
So stop bringing it up!

Well this has taken a remarkable turn.
Out of the remaining candidates, we have one who's taking it all far too seriously, one who's exploiting his own kids as a political tool, and one who's simply a tedious buffoon.
I thing Nancy is the obvious choice now. If only because it's funny how uncomfortable she clearly makes some posters.

Only I think some of them have discovered that Thai women have their own techniques for getting their own way. Not the same techniques as women like me and the wives they left behind, but just as effective in the end. Maybe even more devastating.
At least Hubby's still on his first wife and has a pretty good retirement fund remaining.
