I cannot help but think the police could of done more to identify the deceased perhaps they needed more time.
Personal possessions have been known to go missing or misplaced from accident victims.

Wittiwat at Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai is the most widely recommended on this forum.
I am currently looking for another for a 2nd opnion on some of my issues, and was hoping to see someone else recommended in this thread, but...not yet.
Go with Wittiwat...................I see him on a regular follow up basis. Speaks excellent English too.

“Fees won’t be collected from foreigners with work permits and border passes,” said Mr Phiphat.
Further clarification required I believe.
If a non-Thai person enters as a tourist on a tourist visa they pay as a tourist.
If a non-Thai enters on a different visa or border pass they cannot be deemed to be a tourist so the 300 baht tourist fee should not be applied to a non-tourist.

Why should transit passengers be exempt from being vaccinated or not tested prior to departure?
Personally I think a quick test testing prior to flying more important than vaccination unless in a high risk group.

Thai Immigration should set up passport control in China so when they arrive en masse they can go straight to baggage claim.

The child of an affair between an Indian businessman-tailor and one of his Vietnamese shop assistants, Sobhraj had grown up in Saigon during the Vietnamese war of independence from France.
How does that make him a French national ?

He had looked after the three male Pit Bulls for two years and they were usually mild mannered.
So sometimes they were not mild mannered............and there were three of them.
I believe the police should of taken them into custody for their own protection and await the Court's permission to have them put to sleep.

But in Thailand there is a law to protect animals from cruel owners.
Does that apply to Elephants & captive Tigers too?

what a joke, how about getting the police to do their job and actually catch drunk drivers "before" they crash, 12am onwards is a good start
4am closing will have no effect on people getting into/onto a vehicle and driving while intoxicated - zero effect
Exactly.

Define abuse. They abuse the freedoms they already have. Cannabis might calm them down a tad and actually do some good amongst them.

And criminals should be stopped at the borders
Convicted criminals should show up on Immigration's radar surely.............perhaps no real checks are made. However not all criminals have convictions.

The only time in my 26 years here that I've seen a Thai take responsibility for anything was when his dog raced out to the road and bit me as I passed. He took me to a clinic and paid for the treatment. Another time, a dog bit me in my own garden as I protected my dog from an attack. Went to the local hospital and the treatment cost 350.
If you run over a soi dog someone will run out & claim ownership unless of course there is damage to the vehicle or motorcycle. The dog population is too great and needs to be reduced - hard to see how though in Thailand.

It is not just dogs & cats spreading rabies. Remove all the stray dogs & cats and rabies will still exist IMO.
The vaccines exist so use them before they expire.
