Ah the Han-Chinese appologist, Han Chinese assimilate and destroy cultures and merge them over the decades into their own little Han Chinese nationalist kingdom, just have to see the millions of Tibetans, East Turkistans being imprisoned, tortured, married of to creepy single Chinese men to dominate those lands

and here you are promoting the next round of Han Chinese assimilation onto this land thats been going on for 140 years.

Interesting take on the big picture.

"Sathorn is a major commercial district with skyscrapers, offices, and upscale condos. On main thoroughfare Sathorn Road, vendors with open-air kiosks and pushcarts cater to a lunchtime crowd with pork noodle soup and spring rolls. Longtail boats ply the Chao Praya River, stopping at busy Sathorn Pier, a commuter hub. By night, back roads draw well-heeled revelers to swanky cocktail lounges, jazz bars, and nightclubs."

With all of the threads and posts about Wise/Bangkok. bank international transaction problems I personally would not go there.

I use Wise/Kbank for my transfers, Kbank will email credit advice/receipts on request so for immigration I go to bank one time for bank letter , statement and bankbook update in basement at CW.

    Too easy.

Ensure your recipient bank account name is same as your passport prevents ID issues with your transactions

I found out in April this year that Bangkok Bank Statements for immigration purposes have to come from Head Office in Bangkok and took the best part of a week to obtain them - so in future I will allow for this delay. My visa agency also recommended trying another bank as in their experience statements are printed out & endorsed in the branch. (That Bank's name escapes me for now but will update response later - It may well of been Kbank).

Actually his account at a Bangkok Bank branch is specific to that branch (the first 3 digits of the account number).  Using another branch in same province should not be an issue but that account will be tied to that province and out of area fees charged if applicable for use in another area.

    This is my experience too.

Thailand is, however, strongly opposed to intimidation or the use of force by one state against the territorial sovereignty of another and to the use of force to annex territory of another state without provocation, said the Thai Foreign Ministry.

Gen. Chalermphon Srisawasdi, Chief of Royal Thai Armed Forces, said after chairing a meeting on maintaining security during Apec attended by key military and police chiefs, that intelligence revealed no untoward incidents will occur during the summit but some of the leaders attending it might clash among themselves.

Is he referring to President Macron I wonder.....................going to need another 4 metre long table if so.

Yes, best call the day before to schedule.  I reconfirm by phone an hour or two before pick up.  Used them many times.

Is this comment for Bangkok or Chiang Mai ?

  8. Surely even in Thai law once in the van the driver is fully responsible for those that boarded until all passengers depart the van at the drop off point at or near the school and in a safe manner.

Do the schools in Thailand not have class registration in the morning?

If a child is not in attendance at registration the front office should be informed by the teacher so a parent or carer can be contacted to ascertain the reason for absence or the whereabouts of the missing pupil.

Took MRT and BTS today. All Thais masked up. One farang just came from airport, trying to cover face with his jacket - gave him a mask and he seemed happy to wear it.

There were however a bunch of westerners walking into train with no masks on. You could see disgust from Thais who started to move away from them, and looking away, trying to "breathe the other way". They must have been noticed as BTS played message that although mask mandate ended, BTS recommends wearing mask within 30 seconds of maskless foreigners coming in the train. Those of course completely ignored everything, some even coughing or showing difficulties breathing, which showed others moving away from them.

When in Rome, do as Romans do, right? Except for the ultra überrasse farang visiting Thailand...

So how did they pass through the "turn stiles" without the BTS security person stopping them. Obviously not now know allowed to stop non-mask wearers entering the network. However mask wearing still required at Thai domestic airports,
