This lawfare is destroying the legitimacy of the US legal system, a heavy price to pay for some petty, or maybe not so petty, political advantage. I mean, you sort of expect it in a country like Pakistan, with all their Imran Khan shenanigans, but the US?
Agree with you it is a FARCE. Judges and prosecutors/defenders are elected - that is a BIG issue with the US system. So, each judge is either a Dem or a GOP - absurd and only country in the world that does this.

From that article. Doesn't look good for the king of debt.
The New York attorney general’s office opposed the offer, saying they want the full amount posted. They said in court papers Trump is not barred from obtaining a bond from an insurer. But one of Trump’s lawyers said bonds require cash and that’s the issue.
While this decision gives Trump another potential avenue to raise cash, he still needs to find a lender willing to extend to him a substantial amount of money, even if backed by one or more of his properties.
...........
But if he decides to secure a loan, his lawyers told the judge, he would need to raise more than $550 million. Bond underwriters charge about 120% of the judgment and often require cash and other easy-to-sell assets like stocks or bonds as collateral.
Secured already so you dont really know what you are talking about. No fraud - will win on appeal against this Dem judge.

First Trump has to post cash or a bond for $355 million ( or more ) before he can even appeal.
Engoron's 92-page judgment is meticulous in dissecting the frauds Trump and his associates committed. And explaining how he has assessed the fine/disgorgement required.
O'Leary is a successful businessman. There is no evidence he has any legal training, neither do you.
What fraud? Have you ever sold a house? you don't understand that when you buy money banks do due diligence? Do you agree with electing judges? THROWN OUT ON APPEAL - watch this space

Regarding my first post in this thread, it seems that Ukrainian defences are holding for the moment.
The situation is reminiscent of Bakhmut, with the difference that Avdiivka has benefited from years of fortification work, since 2014.
I wonder if the Ukrainians aren't holding back some firepower, just enough to make the Ruzzians believe they could breakthrough if the just throw enough men at it.
I hope that is the case.
Better edit that. On the way to certain defeat which was obvious from day one.- 2

91 felony charges, plus the factual basis for those charges, are a pretty good factual back up for a position that Trump is guilty.
Remember that the rules for a jury don't apply here.
Besides, how many times have you criticized the losers here who claim that Biden is guilty of corruption, with zero evidence?
The problem is more basic than that. USA is the only country that elects Judges and defenders and prosecutors and so it is BOUND to be political. Depends where you are in Court doesn't it? the system is appalling but blame Jackson.

Do you really believe that? Trump was too busy to return the classified documents?
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.
Why do you think he kept them? i think just silly laziness same as why Biden kept them - lets face it, they are using ANYTHING except democracy to stop him:
1. court cases and indictments
2. storing documents
What's next...? removing from ballots?... oh wait... -

Millions. His perverted rejection of science and utter stupidity led to millions of unnecessary covid deaths. Another reason he is dead last.
No, it didn't - it's the flu. Add it to Denge, mad cow disease, bird flu and all the rest - humanity will always get something that's not his or any leader's fault - dem or GOP.

Bitkub drove me crazy for 2 years by not accepting my verification, so I tried Binance Thailand - they, too, do not accept foreign accounts.
Do you have Any idea WHY this changed? and are there ANY exchanges I can trade on in Thailand? TYIA -
How did he get drugs into her? Shops such as these should always install CCTV to avoid accusations OR to prove they DID happen.

Have you tried turning off the television and reading?
Insults don't help - this was a set-up by a politicised Fanii who ran on getting Trump. O'Leary is right - it is absurd and will be thrown out on appeal - easily.

154 of 11,000 members were asked to vote - now, why is that? who are these 154 who represent 1.4% of the membership? are they representative? maybe, but I'm curious to dig further - how were they selected, etc.?

I absolutely agree with the headline of this topic. Trump's not only been the worst president that I know of, but he's one of the worst people I've ever heard of.
Really? Pol Pot. Hitler, Stalin, Bush, Obama? They all killed thousands; how many did Trump kill? I wont even mention Vlad the Impaler

How does your biased opinion change the fact that Trump fought to keep documents he had no right to keep?
It does seem stupid and I don't know his reasoning - to what purpose? I think "fight to keep" is OTT. He was probably too busy and just didn't pay much attention to his staff storing them - the same could be said for Biden, to be fair.

Thais are oblivious to manners unless they are educated and have travelled. Try opening a door for them and see how many thank you's you get (in any language).

You assume that Russia is going to advance on Kiev. IMO they will not and will simply dig in where they are till Ukraine negotiates. There is no strategic advantage that I can see in taking Kiev, and it would take massive losses to achieve.
Having removed the salient into Russian held territory, and straightened the front line they will be a hard task to remove if Ukraine is considering it.
Meanwhile, Russian troops will be cheered that they captured a formidable objective and Ukrainians face the humiliation of losing, not least losing so many of their comrades. Bad for morale, when they are already long past time for a rest and short of equipment and munitions.
Unless something amazing happens, IMO this is the beginning of the end of the war, and Ukraine will not retake it, despite it having cost so many Ukrainian lives to keep.
I agree I think they will create a Donbas corridor and hold.- 1

Had Ukraine negotiated would Putin have invaded? Please don't give me one of your usual talking points, as I will just ignore it, and stop making me the topic as I'm not. It's getting boring.
It was signed and Russia withdrew from Kiev - Zelensky then broke his word. Unfortunately, the people of Ukraine will suffer for it. It is a heartbreaking tragedy.

As has been explained to you repeatedly, finding classified in an insecure location and following proper procedures to return them is not illegal. Keeping them is.
Why is that so difficult for Trump supporters to understand?
Biden would never do that right... oh wait he's an elderly and confused man so that's ok then

Not propaganda, it just makes sense. The core MAGA and conservative will vote Trump. However, It's the moderate and independents who will de facto choose the winner. Trump surely not being "moderate", he may not appeal to them.
Millions will vote for Trump because they hate the hypocrisy and politicisation of the courts.
